Full disclosure. I have not looked at your items are anyone elses and so I don’t know that you are over pricing. I simply know that I have been shocked by the low prices things are actually selling for when researching. It’s just a thought.

I wanted to throw my 2 cents in about sales. I recently put my sales numbers up on my blog as a way to track them visually for myself. Anyhow I saw that while Thanksgiving day always brings good sales the weekend that follows falls off. I took time with family those days since I knew it was coming. My theory is that everyone does HUGE discounts that weekend and if you aren’t giving things away you just don’t sell as much.
This brings me to my second point with your sales. You have been listing more clothing and accessories items. I can tell you for certain the market is more saturated now than it has ever been. There are more sellers in clothing than there are buyers. There are also a plethora of sellers that are willing to sell items with $1-$2 profit margins. This has caused a huge decrease in the value of items. Furthermore, if you are researching using sold listings you may not be getting a true picture of the value. Ebay is not showing the best offer sold price but the original listed price. This can cause you to over price your items. I am using the “completely” app to research and price. It will show you the actual sold prices for an item along with showing the average time on the market. The app is only available on Iphones but I know you guys are Apple users. I have spoken with the creator of the app and while she has plans to create a Droid version she is currently working on another project.
Hope this helps and I hope you guys are having great sales this week!

Yes, in theory that would be the math. The biggest thing with Etsy is the “tags”. For each listing you have to create tags. Those tags are what Etsy uses to determine if your listing will show in search results or not. I would do a little research into Etsy tags, watch some videos, read some blogs that sort of thing. It is kind of hard to get the hang of but once you do it is easy. If I were to ever hire help it would be to duplicate listings into Etsy. It really is just a matter of time.
MDC we use the same photos for Etsy that we do for Ebay. Just copy and paste.
We do sell on Etsy also. I don’t have much listed there right now but when I can get it to at least 50 items I can count on about 1 item a week selling. They always sell for more than they are listed for on Ebay (we cross-list), and the fees there are less. The time is the biggest issue. It is hard.
I think LIFI absolutely works on Etsy, as long as like Ebay you are constantly “feeding the beast”. Etsy seems to be a place where you can get a higher price for your item but you have to wait a little longer for it to sell.
Just followed you on Instagram! You have beautiful stuff!

I am working with some other sellers on a “Support Sellers” promo on Instagram. If anyone here is interested in joining in, follow me on Instagram (amazingtastestore). Details will be posted today. Hope everyone has a great week!

Still mostly clothing, but just like you guys always evolving. We bought an entire Disney collection from a guy a few weeks back and have been selling it off. I am not a Disney fan (sorry Disney lovers), but it has been a fun experiment into a new category. Still figuring out the new site so I hope I am replying in the correct spot.
Another solid week. We are running between 4500-5500 in any given 7 day period. So excited to see you guys growing and building! The site looks great and I am loving posting from my phone. Hopefully I can be more active now that I can post from mobile.
Popping in just to say that we love Etsy! It takes some getting use to but there is a different buyer on there vs eBay. Definitely worth checking out!
