Quiet week in our eBay store. We’re definitely in our reseller phase of “how passive can our eBay store be and still make money”. We are still scavenging, listing, selling, shipping, but with less time invested.
Experiments are good and in our case necessary. The big project we’re working on now is trying to open a second larger cafe in Harrisonburg VA. We purchased the building in the downtown last year and are currently doing full renovation. There’s a lot of moving parts and a lot of money involved. It’s a big swing! especially in this weird economy where it feels like a recession is always just around the corner. Maybe that’s just the trauma of 2008 and COVID pandemic deep in our psyche. It’s a lot of fun, a huge challenge, and we couldn’t be more excited.
We’re hoping to open early 2024, so this new cafe will take most of our time until then. It’ll be interesting to see how our store does during this time. Ryanne has actually been finding and selling things locally on Facebook. I think she likes the quick cash and no shipping 🙂
