PirateShip is pretty good and a good way to save on shipping for heavier items that are under 0.5 cubic feet.
When USPS had the commercial plus rates last year, PirateShip and eBay Top Rated Sellers, had the same rates for priority and first class across the board except PirateShip also had the Cubic Priority rates.
Earlier in the year when the new rates first came out and the Commercial Plus rates were mostly matched to commercial rates, I believe eBay was only cheaper with flat rates for TRS. But lately, I have noticed that eBay is passing on more of a discount to the TRS for packages shipping by weight.
Although, if you have a good cash back credit card, you can use that to pay for PirateShip shipping.
PirateShip is also nice as you can connect multiple eBay accounts (and a few other platforms) to the same account, and print off all your shipping labels from one login, and get a SCAN form if your Post Office wants those.

But that was all there was in my local area, none of the Walmart’s had them again until after Christmas…

And no, with the HTML5 code, the video is not active content. It’s not much different than having an image in your description.
Although, from what I’ve heard, it’s possible the code I posted above, won’t actually work for uses browsing your listing on the iPHone app, but seems to work for me on Android.

Currently the USPS doesn’t charge dimensional weight unless an item is going to zones 5-9.
In June, they will be charging dimensional weight on everything over 1 Cubic Foot, no matter it’s destination. They are also reducing the divider for their Dimensional weight calculation from 196 to 164, which will increase the weight.
Dimensional weight is Length x Width x Height in inches divided by the numbers above (196 currently, 164 in June)
Mqpquest has a page for route planning. Last time I did it at least, Google didn’t have a good system for setting up the best routes between a bunch of thrift stores. Mapquests page though can be found https://www.mapquest.com/routeplanner
Although, it’s not an app.
I found out pretty quick though, that it didn’t work well for me, and is easier to just use the Google maps app and find the next thrift store after every stop.
You can only charge buyers a sales tax in states that you have a resale certificate / tax license setup for you to actually be able to pay the sales tax you collect.
You can’t collect sales tax from buyers from a state if you don’t have the certificate so you can actually pay it to the state.
Thanks will try to update it as stuff moves.
Although, I did already sell one of the textbooks for $44 that I probably priced lower than I could have… Likely Someone’s bot picked it up (sold immediately). Sadly, was the one book that I couldn’t sell on Amazon.
PirateShip is honestly a lifesaver when it comes to shipping on Ebay. Sure most of the rates are the same, but they also have the Cubic priority rates.
But the real lifesaver to PirateShip, is you can link multiple Ebay accounts (and some other platforms) to 1 shipping platform, and do all your shipping from 1 login. You can even do an end of day Scan form with them so the post office can scan all your packages with 1 barcode. They also don’t unleash drastic changes and glitches to their interface without any warning… lol.
My main sourcing spots are the thrift stores and church garage sales. I do go to some garage sales in the summer, but have been driving a high mileage car for the last few years, and going to yard sales seems like it would put the most wear on it.
For me, I mostly just sell complete board games. I often find them of course missing a few pieces, most of the time, I have just been disclosing the missing pieces and still selling the game. Depending on the value, I do occasionally just buy the missing pieces off of Ebay. But, I will admit I have a small stack of games that are missing parts that are not worth selling or buying missing pieces for, and just have them in the dead pile…
