Thank you both! I’m really looking forward to it. ODU is great, I’m not a typical student (being 35 and all), but I can tell the difference between a good school and bad. Love it so far!
Agreed about this blog Djett83. I need to be careful though, as I definitely spent too much time last night on ebay / auctions / reading. It will be interesting as I work out how to block in time for this on the side. It’s definitely something I want to do though, so it will work out.

Forgot to mention, that RMC jeans listing was pulled by ebay and came with a nice little cease and desist from RMC themselves. :-/ I thought for sure they were real..
Awesome. Thanks again. FedEx was only saving me ~$3, and it’s worth that to me not to have to drive to my nearest fedex pickup. I did verify LxWxH for USPS and it’s within spec. Thanks for that.
The more I think about it, the more I’m deciding not to sweat it as much as I was. I bought insurance, signature confirmation, etc. Both the buyer and I are as protected as we can be. If something goes wrong, I refund him, go through the process and EVENTUALLY get my cash for the sale regardless. I’m not hard-up for the money, so I can be patient as far as that process goes. Thanks for the tips everyone. You’ve helped me put myself a bit more at ease about it.
Thanks for the replies everyone! I’ll be looking for a box to put around it, just so it’s not screaming (COMPUTER HERE!!) for everyone. I’m already seeing I should have charged more for shipping (charged $35.00). Insurance, signature confirm, and 37 lbs to Vermont right now is at ~$47 via USPS Priority large package.
The box right now is at 104″ girth + length, so I’ve only got 4″ to spare with a surrounding box for it. If I can’t find a close fit box, I may just be shipping the mac box. They’d literally have to put a fork lift through the box in order to damage this thing with how Apple packages everything “just so”.
