Daniel: We spread our listings across the week. We do this primarily because we know that the eBay algorithm likes consistent new listings. I know that there is some controversy on this subject, but I have seen and heard too many people that state this fact. Again, it may be a small help, but a help nonetheless.
So mass listing on one day wouldn’t account for the spikes.
Yep. That little box on the left has always been a potential lure for me to offer free shipping on clothing. To see if there is a higher STR on clothing when I offer Free Shipping. It didn’t appear to change a couple of years ago when I went from Free Shipping to charging a flat rate for shipping.
But that Siren Song is always in my ear…
I still may run an experiment with it, but would not offer Best Offer and the pricing would be solid.
Yep, that is how you do Free Returns. Just like Free Shipping, just turn it on for the listing.
We started turning these on about a month ago. Only had 2 clothing items so far. No big deal.
Yes, when you see us in the search results list, it shows “Free Returns”
To offer “Free Returns”, just change the toggle to say that Seller Pays Return Shipping instead of Buyer Pays Return Shipping on that listing.
Love those types of sales. I had a guy in Russia one time purchase 20 pieces of clothing from our store. One night, just sales ringing every couple of minutes. Was the best!
I checked the returns business policy on eBay directly, and it is the same as what I showed above on SixBit. Just put that returns would be paid by the seller.

ASP: $56.19Sales were slowing down, so I ran a couple of sales (10% off), and it seemed to reignite the store. Huge increase week over week on STR (from 15% to 21%), and the ASP actually went up. I didn’t run the sale over the weekend, and the trend seemed to continue. Best sales week since the high point of Q4. I will have to keep this in mind…
For us, we kept 2 policies, one for free returns, one for buyer paid returns. Higher weight items are not given free returns.
I used SixBit to sort by weight and make the mass change.
Maker’s will work, and 46 even better!

Returns Accepted is checked
Items returned in “30 days”
Refund is “Money Back”
Return shipping paid by “Seller”
Restocking Fee is “None”
