I don’t think it’s Coach. The Coach logo has horses pulling a stagecoach. The image on your button is more like a Cinderella-style “coach”.
If you go to Coach.com, you can see their logo at the top of the page.
04/03/2017 at 4:43 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 304: Do a little bit today, then do a little bit tomorrow #15869* Total Items in Store: 409
* Items Sold: 33
* Cost of Items Sold:
* Total Sales: $668 (30 ebay, 1 Truegether, 2 Facebook)
* Highest Price Sold: $130 (WWI Ships Badge)
* Returns: 1 ($75 Dave Ramsey FPU Kit)The facebook sales were homeschool curriculum. This is a great time of year to sell used children’s books, educational toys, and curriculum, if you have any of it!
March was one of my best months on ebay, at $2400. That is 3.5 times what I made last year for March. I upgraded my store from basic to premium on April 1, and I hope to hit 500 items by the end of the week.
Did you determine the item was defective? If it’s really defective, I would skip the restocking fee. He’s already paid money to ship it back to you.
No one reads descriptions, or titles. I think most of them look at the first picture, and that’s it.
Title: “Vintage Lord’s Prayer Needlepoint Sampler Started, Not Finished”
Description: “This sampler measures X” x Y”. It was started, but never finished. It does not come with any floss”
Pictures: *show unfinished sampler, with me pointing at areas that are not finished*Feedback from buyer: “You never said this wasn’t finished”
Seriously?
Would you feel ok if someone sold your old passport, or would you think it is weird?
For me, I would be weirded out, and concerned it would somehow be used in identity theft.
03/30/2017 at 4:03 pm in reply to: Ability to print Shipping Label and Packing List on one page #15643I did that for awhile, too. Now I’m just using the other half for my kid to draw on. I got tired of fiddling with the paper drawer all the time.
It might be a reseller that sources online, hoping that out of the dozens of $1 offers the send out, a few sellers will bite.
Oh wow, I haven’t seen one of those in a long, long time. If I found one, I’m sure my husband would want to keep it, (he’s a linux admin).
Mycottage, it’s an old school computer programming tool. Before scientific calculators were available and inexpensive, you relied on gizmos like this to help you reference addresses in memory.
Have you tried one of those Magic Erasers, (Mr. Clean makes them, but there are store brands too). If the soles are rubber or some type of synthetic, the erasers work well to take marker off.
Leather soles, I black the price out.
If I understand correctly, it is like checking the “size” or “color” options when searching for shoes. If I’m looking for size 8 black boots, I don’t care about the size 10 pink ones, so the check boxes filter out the results I am not interested in seeing.
This was a sloooow week, but sales were good on Sunday. I made more this past Sunday than I did all the previous week. I’m also really happy to report that I more than TRIPLED my sales for March compared to last year. January and February were also good to me, with sales doubled over the previous year. I am about to make the jump from a basic store to the next level.
Total items in store: 401
Items sold: 19
Total of sales: $215
Highest price sold: $25 (tied: Star Wars books/Oster Kitchen Center food processor attachment)
COGS: $35I bought a pair of men’s Merrel hiking shoes a few weeks ago, but didn’t inspect them closely enough. When I got home, they had a lot more wear than I realized. I listed them cheap, to get my money back with a tiny bit of profit, and put “Well Worn” in the title. They sold in about 10 days. No regrets, lol.
HA! We were at home, having a “private moment”, and heard the cha-ching from my phone on the night stand right at the “finale”. It inspired a lot of jokes, (we have very warped senses of humor).
03/26/2017 at 3:02 am in reply to: Save the planet. Save money. Save your items. Save space. Steel File Cabinets! #15299I would guess that is the reason. Any sort of critter that is looking for warmth will find it’s way into the clothes. I would keep them and any paper items inside, as well. Mice will shred the paper for nests.
It’s good to know there is a market for single shoes. I hadn’t thought about amputees looking on ebay. That makes a lot of sense.
Ebaymom, maybe they needed it for pictures, like for a wedding or something? Some people prefer to look as “normal” as possible in pictures. My step-mom was on oxygen at the end of her life, and was adamant that no one photograph her with her O2 tank at my wedding.
I remember one of my high school teachers telling me about someone in his family that had polio back in the day, and thus had 2 different size feet. They joined a pen pal club for shoes, and you’d get buddied up with someone that needed the same size shoes as you, but on opposite feet. Both pals would buy shoes, and send each other the shoes for the other foot. I always thought that was such a clever, friendly way of solving a problem and making a new friend.
