I’m so disappointed in myself for not thinking of doing this…
Don’t have any numbers to share this week, and haven’t for a few weeks now. Super busy with life, and just took a much needed vacation to Colorado. Between hiking at altitude, the obscene number of breweries, and, uhm other things in Colorado I don’t think I’ve fully recovered from vacation yet…
But, as of May 20th I hit the 90 day mark of selling on ebay, and I’m now a Top Rated Seller! All the discounts belong to me! Just shipped my 300th item yesterday, so everything is going great. Just wanted to take a second and thank everyone here, all the information and ideas that I’ve gotten from everyone here on the forums has been a huge part of my success so far.
I had some some go to Alfreton England last week, I’ve been trying to figure out how to pronounce it ever since.
I sold a vintage Met Mah Jongg set a few weeks ago, when I was going through the research process I found out the the cases are virtually worthless as they are all aftermarket anyway. Not saying that it wouldn’t have any impact, but probably not enough to be worth the fix.
So far Chevy Chase, Maryland has been my favorite.
In my Dymo 450 I use off brand Dymo 99019 labels, here’s a link to.
Interesting, that’s good to know…might have to make some slight changes.
Understand, I don’t use the program or I would gladly run a control test. I only wonder if it makes a difference because when I list something as GTC it still runs a 30 day timer on my active listings page, and just automatically starts that timer over when the 30 day runs out, so I would wonder if manually reslisting the item isn’t just doing the same thing but with extra work.
Do you have a similar graph from a subset of items that were listed the other way? I only ask because to attribute the sales bumps to that change you’d need a group that is listed GTC as a control, otherwise your dataset is incomplete and your assertion about the reason the numbers bump at 1 and 30 is just an assumption. Not saying you’re wrong, just curious.

Brand every single time, until I’m forced to stop…and even then I’ll try and find a workaround.

My research showed that the Dream Truck typically brought around $150 which is almost exactly what mine did. The California Kid on the other had was going for between $220 and $250, I ended at $280 which is higher then any comp I could find.

I also found a ’58 Impala in box that comps out to around $80, that seems to be the average price for all non-special edition danbury diecasts I could find.

Just had auctions close on two of them the other day.

Found mine for $15 each at a Salvation Army.
Regular bullies are bad enough, but there’s seriously almost nothing worse then an internet bully.
You personally aren’t bound by any agreement between the issuing club and the member who’s jacket that was. I did a quick search and there’s hundreds of Widows Sons items for sale on ebay. I’d just block this guy and carry on with your life.
