Update: I called back and spoke to a Managed Payments rep who told me that the message was sent out in error, but the information within it was correct with one exception. It was sent to our user ID in error. Our store doesn’t qualify for MP at the moment based on the percentage of our sales that are through the GSP. What a relief!
I also asked her when I should expect to be forced to make the transition, she said that there is not a set date for full compliance across the board but it will be “within the next few months”.
Jay, It doesn’t say anything about a suspension. Only that I must register in order to continue listing past the suspense date of 22OCT.
Andrew, I’m interested to know what they say when you call. This appears to be one of the more poorly handled rollouts that eBay has dropped.
