09/11/2020 at 6:07 pm in reply to: The New Time Away Settings (Old “Vacation Settings”) – Woo hoo! #81487this is cool, but if there is a limit to 15 days, that’s a bummer. i guess it makes sense that ebay does not want people to wait over a month for their items?
and think of it this way: her lunch break is 1 hour a week total x $paid x 52 weeks/year.
if she’s 1099, you should not be paying for her lunch/cig/phone/break time. just make it clear that you can’t afford to do that. if she is not cool with that, you should find another helper who understands this.
yes, thanks for the reminder on the insurance. issue is we have to refund my buyer in full, including the shipping label price, but the insurance only covers the price of the item, it won’t even let you ask for the full amount, it just gives an error until you type in only the price of the item. so that sucks. i switched all my listings back to GSP today because of this.
I would love to check it out too!

the only thing i can think of is that they paid with paypal, and then you got switched over to ebay managed payments in the meantime and something got wonky on ebay’s end?
if you can’t get through on the phone try messaging https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness
i’ve also heard you can email ebay right now and they’ll get back to you https://www.ebay.com/help/email?initFrom=HOME

AND a friend recently upgraded to a sweet vehicle and i was jealous. AND another friend in town bought a 2016 TESLA, which i’m also jealous of. not jealous of his monthly payments though!
yes i had an issue w paypal this morn too. i emptied my balance, tried to buy something on ebay which is hooked up to my paypal debit card, nope! instead i just changed the payment method to plain old paypal so it would pull from my bank account. also went in and deleted an old debit card backup payment method too. cleaning out the cobwebs!
