ugh…tried to reply, wrote a long story and i guess i was auto logged out and lost all my text.
sorry, i am interested in your thoughts and will reply again later. have a great day!hi again,
due to the fact that ebay stripped my listings of the surcharge to hawaii that i include on all my listing – i had a sale shipping to hawaii and had to spend $10 out of pocket for the shipping. i found a screen shot but dont see how to add photo here? here is the link to the community board, if you scroll down you can see a photo with a red square around where you used to be able to add a surcharge to your ebay listing.
i have not had to do business policies, i did briefly look at these, as sharyn commented. but it looks to me that it is only a flat rate charge. this also makes no sense. if you sell larger heavier items as i do – those prices can vary greatly.
i agree with sharyn, looks like i will end up excluding those places – which to me is not a huge deal, but just is so frustrating that they make these impactful changes and make not notification to their own “customers” – we are paying them, i think its piss poor customer service….ugh – okay
im done with my rant! thanks for listening and helping.02/15/2020 at 10:35 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: 8 Track player, Napa Valley Box Co. Cassette rack #73985Wow, glad it was only 3 days!
RE Phone Call From Beth in Ohio…
i also had the glitch of new listings being posted
in the international section at the very bottom of the page!
it happened maybe back in June or July.i spot check occasionally to see where i
show up in search. this was a 3 day issue, i also posted
on the ebayforbusiness facebook site – which i also do
to have someone look at issues. just wanted everyone to
know it was not an isolated issue and YES, that facebook
page is really helpful. they will ask you to message them
direct with screenshots if needed.im doing my scavenger life marathon – i spend a couple hours
listening while i clean my office! its the only thing that
forces me to do it, lol!
just thought i would confirm and share my experience 🙂
cheers!-

01/31/2017 at 9:41 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 295: The Challenges of Changing Your Strategy #11476hi jinedo58 – your older items are more than likely way, way down search. so even with the boost for markdown, they are too old. if you are really looking to weed out those old items i would recommend 2 things. first i would use the sell similar to create a whole new listing with new item number. this will get your items back towards the top; change up the title and even up the price. the second thing i would do is when relisting, put the item into a new store category titled anything you wish related to New Markdowns. you can then run markdown sales on just that store category – so it is super easy to keep track of how you are selling down in that category and you can add to it whenever you want to get rid of something through mark down. hope these ideas may help you 🙂 good luck!

hi joe,
i agree with ryanne – ship together, least expensive to KY. the only thing you need to remember is that you need to have it arrive to KY by your latest expected delivery date. yours might be the delivery date for the 1st class item i suspect [depends on where you live]. ebay will figure it out from there, you will have done your part – you are only responsible to get it to KY. -
