Thanks all. I think my original pics did not really show how the ties strings were situated. They are not going up and down the spine as you would see in a wine list holder, etc..but are going across on the outside to hold it closed. I’m adding the other two larger ones/pics I have that also have a different tie situation going on. These have four small ribbon sections at the edge of each side. Thanks MDC. You may be on the right track, but I wonder about the material used. It seems a little too nice and to clothy [if that’s a word] for menus.

Thanks Amatino. however they do seem a bit large for that [the other two are even larger than the ones I pictured]. Also, they don’t have those little edge holders that I normally see on the inside of certificate holders. Again, I don’t have a clue and you could be right.
