It’s a ceramic oil lamp, kind of like a ceramic candle.
I ran across a couple painted on photo canvases in thrift stores recently that were very cool. I don’t remember the subject matter. It took me a bit to realize they were photo canvas that had been painted on. I don’t know if this is something that people are doing to their photos, or if some company is producing these as mixed media art pieces. It’s a cool technique if done well.
I wouldn’t be afraid to mention it as weird art in the title, either, along with other keywords that go along with the subjects. I sometimes search for weird art just to see what I find, and sometimes I find a “weird” one that appeals to me. I’m sure other folks do the same.
I was thinking pretty much the same as Ryanne. You might try listing each separately as auctions at the lowest you’re willing to take for either and go from there. Can you tell if the frame is actually old? It’s hard to tell sometimes without seeing up close. There are a lot of gold leaf type reproduction frames out there. From the photo, it appears the frame would be old, but that’s no guarantee. I should add that even if the frame is a reproduction, it’s still worth way more than you paid for it. Good luck!

01/02/2018 at 6:57 pm in reply to: How to avoid trademark or counterfeit violations on common brands used items? #29749I’ve got a query out through eBay For Business. They are usually super quick, so I hope to hear something from them soon. Thanks to everyone for the input.
Is it flat on both sides, and is that hole way off center?

Haven’t figured it out yet, and I’ve done a lot of searching.
Well, I started using this spreadsheet program, Easy Auctions Tracker, to track my sales including Sales Tax for California, and it easily prints the reports I need for documentation. It’s an Excel spreadsheet that quickly connects to my eBay account to pull in and track all the info about my sales. I think it’s $49 a year, but I’ve found it totally worth it to me to simplify my accounting.
Thanks for the response. I do have an accounting system and can easily pull the info from there, but I need a record generated from eBay showing my taxable sales for the State of California. They want this and not my own record of taxes received. Oh well…
Thanks, that narrows it down some. It’s a very cool shirt.
From what I understood about the Guaranteed Delivery program also for those folks using the “Handling Time” program,” if the seller meets the handling time requirement, the item gets scanned by USPS on time, and the item isn’t delivered on time, eBay takes responsibility for refunding the shipping fee to the buyer, and if it was a Free Shipping item, then they will give the buyer a $5 coupon as compensation. Also, in order for eBay to offer the guarantee in the first place, they will match buyers to sellers according to geographic zones where 3 days or less is a good probability, and they will also look at shipping options offered by the seller. So, if the buyer and seller are on opposite coasts, then the First Class option might not be workable, but if the seller also offers a Priority option, then that option would be available to the buyer for the guarantee. They will also allow buyers to filter their searches for items that are available for the Guaranteed Delivery option. Sounds like a no-brainer if you’re already using a one day or better handling time. eBay Radio has covered this a lot in the last couple weeks…
