I’s a limited edition given out to people who donate $250 or more:
https://pemachodronfoundation.org/donate/donate-to-the-pema-chodron-foundation/
It would make a nice gift for the right person and nobody else has one for sale, so I’d say price boldly.
Do you save your old emails from eBay? If so, you could try searching for any messages that mention the missing items.
If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest calling eBay and seeing if they can tell you what happened.
Okay, that’s weird. EBay shows a sale of those coffee bags at $1891.10. But click through to the listing, and you’ll see it’s a multi-quantity listing with “0 available / 5 sold.” Click on the “5 sold” and it’s a single sale of 5 items at only $11.44 each.
I think what must have happened is: someone bought at a reasonable price, then the seller raised the price, but never made another sale. Apparently, when you search sold listings, eBay shows the higher price instead of the actual price paid.
The most I found anyone actually paying for a single box of these bags is $37.56, and even that seems like a fluke.
02/22/2018 at 2:55 am in reply to: Cleaning Tips – How to Remove Price Marks, Tags, and other Annoyances #33607My favorite “wet” method of sticker removal is naphtha or heptane, which are basically the same. They evaporate quickly without leaving a residue and are safe on most surfaces, including plastic and paper — you can use them on the pages of a book and they won’t leave a stain. Un-Du is a form of naphtha that comes in a convenient dropper bottle with a scraper, but it’s kind of expensive. Heptane is often sold as “rubber cement thinner” and you can buy it cheaply in large cans — brands include Bestine and Doc Edington’s — but it’s best to have a smaller bottle to put it into.
Watch out with rubbing alcohol, since it can cloud some plastics and remove finishes from wood.
I also second the recommendation of Snag Nab-It. I have a cat who obsessively kneads and nurses on my shirts, so I’m constantly having to fix thread pulls. It’s very easy to use and you can’t tell the fabric was repaired at all.
First Class International packages get end-to-end tracking in lots of countries now. List here:
https://pe.usps.com/text/imm/immc2_022.htm
EBay hasn’t kept up to date with the post office on this, and will warn you that you’re not going to get delivery confirmation for some of these countries — France, for instance — but you actually do get it.
Oh, and Bingbong, check the “package type” on your listings. $6 sounds like the price for a large envelope to Europe and $13 sounds like the price for a package.

01/22/2018 at 9:07 pm in reply to: first class international ship no longer available for items except for paper #31118EBay finally posted a seller announcement about this:
The new document-only policy involves only letters and flats — First Class International packages can still ship just like before (though they’re a little more expensive now). But the change messed up eBay’s shipping label system, probably because they didn’t have a way to make the new policy apply only to letters/flats and not packages. They’re going to have to get two different hamsters running in two separate wheels now. They said it should be resolved “shortly” and that they will automatically adjust our seller metrics, which is at least better than having to call to have them adjusted.
I bet those came out of an adjustable ankle weight, like this.
As usual, eBay’s communications with sellers are confusing as hell, but it sounds like if the only problem with the listing is that it hasn’t sold, you could just do “sell similar”? Or maybe reduce the price by $1 and “sell similar”?
I systematically discount items by 10% every 6 months and eBay hasn’t cancelled anything yet. If they do, it will just make it harder for me to identify older listings that need to be discounted.
I had occasional problems with substitute mail carriers failing to pick up my packages, so I made a small brightly colored sign I can clip to my mailbox to remind them. Maybe that would help for you too?
On the Seller Hub overview page, in the Selling Tools pane, there should be a link called “Reporting.” I think that’s what the help file you found is talking about.
In the same place there’s also a “Sales Reports Plus” that looks like it’s been neglected by eBay for about a decade, but does have a category report.
In case the links are missing, here are direct links:

I haven’t had any issues today, but my eBay app tends to get messed up like that periodically. If you’re on Android you may be able to fix the problem by going to the phone’s settings, finding the Application Manager, and doing “Delete Data” for the eBay app. You’ll have to log in to eBay again and redo any changes you’ve made to the app’s settings, but this has always fixed notifications for me.
Oh, I see some influence of the Isle of Lewis chessmen, too—in that the knight is on a little mount and the king and queen look like they’re sitting on thrones. Also the queen is holding a sword between her two hands just like the kings in Lewis.
It is a very cool chess set.
My first thought was Viking or maybe Celtic because of the details on the clothes and the Queen’s hair, but then I’m also seeing big pointed elf ears, curved swords, the knight riding some kind of horned animal, some kind of tree-man… I think it’s fantasy with a mix of influences. Could be based on some fantasy book series but I don’t know which one. I’d suggest fantasy and elves as keywords. Maybe treant too if it will fit.

For alkaline battery leakage, a little vinegar on a Q-tip works well.
Ryanne, eBay defines handling time here:
http://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/sr?&query=what+is+handling+time
If you have one-day handling time and payment clears Monday, you are supposed to get the label scanned by 11:59 PM Tuesday.
Of course if it’s scanned late but gets there on time, you won’t get dinged for a late shipment. I’ve never figured out exactly how eBay decides what counts as on-time delivery, but it seems like sometimes there is a little padding built in.
