I am all about the chili dogs.
Can someone tell me where I can find the option to bulk edit 500 listings at a time?
Thank you.06/01/2017 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 312: Is eBay Removing Old listings? #18879Kept thinking I would get my numbers posted. I leave in the morning for the West Coast and on the 13th to the East Cost. So much prep before I can leave town. Last week sales were ok kinda slow for me, again tunic sales saved the day. Hope to listen later on this week.

17 other sales 358.84Tunic sales carried me again this week. The tunics have been an awesome boost to my sales. Jay is right on about finding an item to resell for only 1.00 that you can flip for 30.00. Keep your eyes open because you never know when you may find that item you can buy cheap, get a fast turn over and sell for a good profit.
Ryanne, so I called ebay about the belt I sold to Peru. I asked what kind of seller protection was available for me as a seller and for the buyer? No seller or buyer protection when there is no tracking. But the rep stated I could cancel the transaction select “problem with shipping address” with no defect on my account. So I sent the buyer a message stating there was no ebay protection on the transaction and that it could take up to 90 days to receive the item if it arrived. I offered to to cancel the transaction. The buyer promptly replied and stated “I agree with you cancel the transaction”. That felt so good (end of stressful moment).
Ryanne
Thanks I will hope for the best and remove Peru from my shipping locations.LL
Hey Ryanne can I get some shipping advice?
Can you tell me the best way to ship a belt to Peru? It sold with Priority International but I see there is no tracking?
Thanks,Liz L

New listings 30Tunic sales continue to be strong. Looks like I have enough tunics on hand for another strong week of sales. The tunics have been a great source of income it’s also a lot of WORK. To be successful in this business you gotta work at it.
Columbia had over 150 garage sales during the past week. Pick of the week is 2 pair of Birkenstocks I paid 9.00 each. I can sell them for $80.00. I also stumbled upon a heap of vintage new in the package men’s clothing. Hope all of you are out there working the garage sales. I find some of the best stuff at cheap prices at garage sales. By Saturday morning I am physically tired from hustling Thursday & Friday garage sales but I make myself go anyway because I know the deals are out there just waiting for someone.

New listingsA phenomenal week for my store it feels like eBay turned me on. It’s the tunic sales. I sold 34 for a total of 1033.00. Other sales totaled 516.85 which is still a good week (with out the tunics).
Someone asked if the tunics are new. Yes new in the package with tags, found in a thrift store.
Question for Jay & Ryanne (or anyone else)
From what I gather square doesn’t do payroll in MO? I remember you mentioned on a podcast that you researched several payroll companies but decided to use Square. Maybe you can recommend an online company that can do my payroll? My helper is working 10 hours a week and doing a great job. She mostly creates drafts but we have started doing some inventory management. BTW I am adding a unique ID number to the SKU field on my listings for inventory. It’s great only I can see it and I can run a report that shows items sold with SKU number along with the picture of the item.

A great week for my store04/09/2017 at 5:21 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 305: The Biggest Transfer of Wealth in Human History #16304Hello everyone,
I will post my numbers later I just couldn’t wait to share my scavenge of the week. On Friday I bought 50 Soft Surroundings Afternoon Walk Tunics. They retail for $89.95 each, I purchased them for $1.00 each and paid no sales tax. I listed them late Friday evening for $29.99 they started selling like fresh bread straight from the oven. Thinking of supply and demand I raised the price to $34.99 they are still selling! So far I have sold 18 tunics for a total of 544.82. For the first time my little store is on FIRE. I have the fire logo next to the tunics. Profit is better than wages.
