I saw tat a player named, Sean Burroughs, died yesterday. Not to be morbid, but does that make his cards go up in value, at least in the short term?
After he left I asked the owner if he had any more video game stuff. That’s when he brought down the systems. The dreamcast came with a new sealed VMU, which is $80-100 itself.
You really have a skill getting the good stuff from people at these sales! How much did he end up selling you the systems for?
It’s all very exciting. Lots of promise. The huge dream is to send 3-d printers to mars and get people to print what they need out of raw materials on Mars.
Definitely think the promise of 3-D printing is cool but the consumer ones are still kind of just toys. I feel the same way about chatGPT. It’s a fun party trick and will likely just lead to a bunch of garbage text added to the internet.
Good luck on the sand sculpture competition. Not even sure how you’d plan for a big project like that. Assume it’ll be fun no matter what.

It’s always great to hear that you;re still finding great stuff at yard sales. We haven’t done the “yard sale crawl” in a long time. I remember waking up early with a list of sales I wrote down from the local paper. By Noon, we’d have a tuck load of stuff.

I assume its the MBA’s at eBay trying to always squeeze more and more sales/money out of the system.
Instead of letting sellers keep the discount, maybe eBay will decide to force the discount to go to the buyer. This makes items cheaper and might drive more sales. But again, its a decision eBay would be making and not letting the seller decide. We’ll see.
I like that you’re willing to experiment. Thinking about it now, it’s funny that no one thought to make a “home shopping network” website for eBay sellers.
