@MDC Galleries & Fine Art thank you for your help. I checked out the link you provided and did a wikipedia and google search for enameled filigree and it does appear to be what this is (thank you!).
To make sure that I’m understanding what I read correctly, the artist would create an object out of a metal, and then fill it with the colored enamel? And there is a slight possibility that they could have used actual gold to create the filigree, is that right? Thank you again for your knowledge and patience. @amatino that is brilliant! We are totally going to use that blurb, thank you for the info! I live in a suburb, where the post office people don’t want to work and let everyone know it, but if I find someone nice I will try that as well

I had a conversation with the customer and he is very happy and stopped pushing to pay. LOL who would have thought I’d actually have to talk someone out of paying? I did mention that if he needs any shirts in the future to keep me in mind and if any of his friends compliment him on the shirt to point them in my direction but to not tell them what I put him through LOL. Thank you all again!
