You should try it! I found non fiction and obscure to be most in demand but you still have to have that right person come looking. I sell in a brick & mortar group shop and actually sell a number of books in that venue. At one time I did sell books on Amazon but they started pushing out the little sellers long before they started doing the shipping for sellers. It was a great venue for books but I couldn’t justify the price of a store, before that it was a fee when you actually sold a book. Oh well times change and now I just sell on eBay. I would pay the $10 for sourcing on Thursday, I love being one of the first to see especially if the books are only 25 or 50 cents! Have fun.
We also have yearly town wide yard sales that I often sell at as there are alot of people that come to these from outside of the area and plenty of items large and small get sold for good money!
This was a great listen and glad to hear brick and mortar shops are coming back. I sell in the summer at a group shop and merely pay my monthly rent. I go every week to bring new items and freshen up the booth spaces. I love selling at a group shop because you have a little community to chat with when other sellers are also taking care of their spaces. I wish the owner of the shop paid more attention to the shop itself and fixed some things, but it is only open for 5 months of the summer and he is absent 90% of the time.
