This is a spring action fork used for serving carved meat. The handles may be tortoise shell. Hope this is helpful. If you put spring fork meat vintage in google search you will see quite a few listed on eBay and Etsy, I think average $15.00.

I have had a Millifiore vase listed for at least 2 years now. Slow indeed!!!
I cant find any similar cased vases like this with the flecks of gold or ornate bands attributed to anyone. Though, I agree Murano is the most likely. I wish it had a mark or a sticker! Gah!!Well, I don’t know if this will be helpful… but I found your exact brass plates by doing an image search with key words. I brought up the image but the listing on Etsy is gone, This was the description listed with the image:
Vintage Brass Curved Furniture Corner Hardware, Floral Architectural Decorative Protector, Furniture Applique Embellishment Trim.
It was on this google search about 15 rows down:

How big are they? They remind me of cane/walking stick badges.
I don’t know, there is something kinda cool about that house. Not that I would EVER live there. But, If I was in town, I might like to visit.
Very good point, Jay!
I was reading forum posts on a site somewhere that talked about the differences with selling on Etsy and EBay. I have never sold on Etsy, but am interested in trying it out. I have not had any truly horrible experiences with any buyer on eBay thus far, so I guess I should keep that in mind!Thank you all for the insights! I will have to subscribe to worthpoint, looks like they have good reference info.
I am thrilled to the Bull is so valuable. I hemmed and hawed over this piece for awhile as the price was $10 and I could not make up my mind as to whether it was truly mid century or a knock off. I actually gave this to the clerk when checking out saying I was not going to buy it. I, of course, changed my mind and went back.
I am considering selling it on Etsy. I am afraid of getting scammed on Ebay if it has such a high price. I have never sold anything this pricey before.
Has anyone here been scammed on high ticket items? Thanks!

Yes, mostly just old stuff. Occasionally, newer used items. I will list anything I think might have value!
Thank you Mike!
I had trouble figuring out the photo hosting thing, but I think I have fixed it now. How are you able to see the prices? Very helpful, thank you! -
