Linda I don’t get all the fear at this point. Trump was a democrat for decades, something that conveniently eludes the MSM and thwarted globalists. At some point, the fear just sounds like larping.

Meh. It happens. We never answer the phone. If someone calls, I answer it thru ebay’s email system. Normal people get the hint.

In the early 2000s I used my father’s home address as I travelled a great deal and was using that as a home base.
I had a buyer who lived the state over, randomly emailed me and said he was coming to the house to drop off an item he bought.
I told him the following: for your own sanity, NO. It’s very hard to find, there’s no reception down there (to this day, it’s sporadic, if that), I’m not there right now, AND my dad and/ or his neighbors will do one of the following: Confront you with or without a weapon, (hopefully), release dogs (more likely), fire warning shots (probably) at your car.
Well the guy showed up anyway. My dad answers the door with an old hunting rifle in his hand. The worst case scenario happens.
My dad talks to him for over an hour. Dad still is quite the chatty Kathy to this day. He forgot about the rifle, which he was about to clean when company came. The poor man was taken aback, but too polite and frightened to so much as twitch.
Eventually my poor buyer got the courage to excuse himself and make his escape.
He never returned the item, and I never heard from him again.
Dad said he was a nice person but with not much to say.
Anyway, I hope I don’t get a visitor, but sometimes you get a few pests.
Some people use a Suite address thru UPS or a local company.

Now is the time to consider pruning dead inventory before eBay hits ya with that automatic renewal listing fee.

If anything I had weird sales the past few months, like the $70 Squishable frog, and some Betamax tapes. Somebody wanted out of a lot, just one Young and the Restless Betamax for $50, so clearly, the money is out there somewhere.
Guys suck it up and sell books on Amazon. It’s a nice, steady income as long as you have a price changer. We have a home brew changer, but I have heard Amazons isn’t too bad.

I’m in one of my wild child moods where if I could raise several thousand I would rent a condo apartment in Philly for a few months, with floor to ceiling/ all windows so I could be moody, smoke and watch the skyline with a glass of wine.
In the meantime, I will have to settle for chopping wood for the wood stove and making sure the steam radiators will do their thing.
Sounds like extremes, but that’s my thing.
Christine, I just love atomic holiday items. That’s awesome. I have a non holiday but cool retro chip and dip up on eBay, I’m hoping somebody will buy. Several sold in the $50 range. Of course I post mine and suddenly nobody wants that design. Grr

I was referring more to sweeping generalizations of a Trumppocolypse where the ACA is repealed and not replaced. I mean no disrespect, and BTW, I am very sorry to hear about the cancer issue. Our neighbor had no symptoms and discovered she had kidney cancer, and that was very upsetting for her and a shock to everyone.
We have been on Amazon and eBay full time since 2003. At the time of the financial crisis we weren’t affected.
Right now I’m getting spanked on eBay because my vintage and antique to contemporary stuff is low. We were fine last time because our niche was doing well. Amazon was good too.

some areas are down to one insurer. That’s not tenable at all.
I doubt they will revoke it. It needs alteration or it will die on its own anyway. WellPoint helped write the ACA, and they recognized the issues of getting healthy people to buy insurance. Blame the young folk.
I think they may nationalize the health insurance industry so you and I can buy across state lines.
If it’s any comfort, I think Trump is a RINO in many ways and a Reagan Democrat in others.
I guess we will see what happens.
