Update: Sold for $10 plus shipping. Thanks everyone!
Hi, thank you Jay!
I decided to do my best to keep an happy customer, she is new to Ebay. I just brought the package to the Post Office and paid to have it shipped again, and updated the tracking in Ebay.
I would have probably asked for them to at least pay half if the shipping was over $10, this was media mail, so not too expensive.
I also sent her a message:
Hi —,
I just mailed your cookbook again, and uploaded the new tracking number to Ebay.
I see you are a new buyer, welcome to Ebay!
You will want to check your Mailing Address in Ebay to make sure it’s complete.
Enjoy your cookbook and have a good day!
CarolynThank you for responding, Jay. I am on Episode 131 now, working through all the episodes.

thank you!it is not magnetic and those look like an E and a 3 or an R and a 3
Hello!
im listening through all of the post casts I downloaded I’m getting so educated and inspired. I keep hearing all sorts of new ideas and really appreciate all the info. Thank you Jay and Ryanne for putting all the time and effort into the podcast. You guys are the best!
CarolynOk, I think this is a reproduction maybe. I’m not an expert. Even though one of the sides of the hanging wire is secured with really old leather, the leather on the sides seems newer, and when I tap my fingernail on the rosettes on the corners, they seem plastic. So I will list it that way.
oh I am so sorry I am only getting back to this thread now! Thank you all for the responses! I decided to take the pictures and list it today so I came here to see if anyone had any ideas. I think I agree with @Incompetentpicker most. That’s what it seems like to me. The leather looks old. I am guessing and going to list it as a Victorian era wall pocket. I’ll upload the rest of my pictures and let you know how it turns out!
Again, many thanks –
Carolyn
Thank you @incompetentpicker that is a perfect match! Much appreciated.

Three pronged mark on the bottom.
Ok I’ll try this again…..
This is the mark on the bottom.
I have the same, some too low to make offers. Sometimes I raise the price so I can drop it, lol.
08/07/2020 at 8:16 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 474: How Do We Only Sell High Priced Items All The Time? #80444Thank you for the podcast. I feel sorry for Paypal too, it was funny to hear you say that Ryanne!
I have 371 items in my store today. I listed 22 items today, that was a high, I think. I made a few sales last week. I need to really up my game.
I like Facebook marketplace to unload stuff I don’t want to ship, and I agree with others’ assessments, although I don’t put too many high priced items up on FBM. My husband picked up a Starbucks espresso machine at an estate sale and sold it on FBM for $100. I know it worked, we tested it and it was nice to know it wouldn’t be returned or get damaged in shipping. I did tell the gentleman to let me know if it didn’t work for him, though. Did not hear further from him.
I have cleaned out old paint on FBM, which is nice.
About the seller who called in and doesn’t double-box, that was good to hear. I am so stressed out by thinking about shipping heavy and/or breakable items. I fell like bubble wrap, big boxes lots of room inside stuffed with peanuts is the way I will go, going forward.
I’ve also used the padded flat rates with mugs wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard inside them a fair amount with good reviews on shipping.
Thanks so much, just updated the listing. Some people call it “posy” too, so I threw that in also.
thank you Sonia
