Ryanne and Jay,
It really shocked me that yall have decided to end the podcast. I have listened to every single podcast for years. It was informational, and at the same time, it was very intertaining. Yall have always been so down to earth and so interesting. I want yall to know what an impact yall have had on me and my grandmother. I have built an infrastructure on my own on ebay since around October 2019, and it has been such a joy. Yall have given me such a great jumping off point for my mini business, and gave me a great place to start. Since I have kinda built up enough on ebay, my grandmother is retiring on October 1 and we are going to work together on ebay for her “side hussle”. Yall have 100% inspired us. She told me about your podcast, she got me hooked, and we thought we wanted to make our own business. And none of it would have happened without yall. Yalls podcast will be missed by me and my grandmother both. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Mine didn’t not automatically cancel, after I think it was four days in the awaiting payment section, they gave me the option to keep waiting or to cancel and relist it. Mine wasn’t automatically. Maybe it has something to do with since mine were auctions and maybe yours were buy it now. I don’t know. Thank yall for the information!
Okay thank you, shipping master!
Oh okay, thank you!
Oh wow, I really like those. About how much did they cost to make?04/17/2020 at 9:26 am in reply to: Selling on Facebook Marketplace during Coronavirus #76343
That’s a great idea, I think it works well where you live. I live in a kind of rural area, but it’s not like your tiny community that you live in. So, I don’t know everyone around (even though I wish I did). I feel like it I did what you do, people would take advantage of it. So like they may not put as much money in the plastic container as I asked for. I just don’t trust people sometimes, even though I wish I could :(.
What I’ve been doing is meeting them at a local pizza place and wiping everything with clorox wipes right before I give it to them. I am getting no closer than 6 feet to people. That helps though, I may use your idea of just setting it out for them to look at.
No, I don’t think that you have to take returns. Basically, I just don’t want a bad rating. It is buyer beware I guess.
I get what you are saying. I just wanted to make sure I kept a good rating. I only have 2 ratings, and a bad one would mess it up. But, if the laptop is in any worse condition than it was before I sold it, I am not accepting it. I’m also making them factory reset it before they give it to me.
There isn’t a return system that I know of on Facebook. I just know of messaging the seller and asking for a return. If there is a return system, I don’t know of it. I agree, I do think it would be best to keep the buyer happy, and keep a good rating.
