Scavenger Life Episode 358: Knowing What You Know Right Now, Would You Start Your Business Today?
We got an interesting call on our voicemail line this week that sparked the question you see in the title. Great question and it really made us think. What about you? Would you start your business knowing what you know now and considering the structures and rules of online selling today?

Scavenger Life Episode 357: Don’t Live In Drafts
We were caught off guard when our copious amounts of drafts that were over 30 days old started losing photos on the eBay server. Huge lesson learned not to live our eBay life in drafts, get it scheduled and get it listed. Never wait this long!

Scavenger Life Episode 356: We Catch Up w/ Maria & Ryan from Passport Vintage Austin, TX
We last interviewed Maria and Ryan from passportvintage.com in 2015. Living in Chicago, they were the first sellers we met who made a living almost exclusively through Etsy, selling 90’s fashion. We had no idea Etsy could really be a full time thing.
Some sharp eyed Scavengers let us know that they had moved to Austin, TX and opened a brick and mortar store to sell their vintage clothes. They’re now teaching us that IRL stores are alive and kicking.

Scavenger Life Episode 355: We Catch Up w/ Mark Tew, Not Your Dad’s CPA
We last interviewed Mark Tew in 2016. Since we last spoke, Mark quit his job as a CPA, opened his own tax accounting business, sold his house, and moved his family to Nicaragua. He’s also had learned a lot more about doing taxes for eBay and Amazon sellers since they are his main client base. We dig deeper into doing taxes as resellers and best practices to make tax season much easier.

Scavenger Life Episode 354: The Long Game – 10 Years On eBay
We realized that this is our tenth year selling on eBay. Guess that makes us professionals.
A fellow scavenger sent us this link to an artist who bought slides on eBay to use for some wonderful art. Just a reminder to buy eBay shipping supplies with your coupon because it’s a new quarter!
