Although our listings are “GTC” now, it helps to occasionally sort active listings by “title.” If the same exact title is used for a “sell similar,” it’s pretty easy when scanning the list to see a duplicate listing via the title and/or photo.

Moved here from Ohio. Living in the Tri-Cities area in Sullivan County. Yes, absolutely love the church rummage sales and the endless garage sales! Told my husband today that I’m “overstocked” but this is the best time of year to buy (before it gets to the thrift stores!) Vintage goods and antiques are picked over by the flea marketeers, but clothes are aplenty.Poshmark’s “Home Decor” category is said to prohibit glass and ceramic (although coffee mugs and such have already been listed there).
In regards to buyer cancellations immediately after the sale or hours after the sale, it could be due to ebay sending “similar item” offerings to the buyer as soon as they’ve paid. If they see the same or similar item at a better price, the buyer requests to cancel. Has anyone here been offered similar items for less from other sellers right after paying? I haven’t purchased for awhile but I remember it happening to me.
I had the same thing happen, so I changed my first and last name to be the first and second words of my store/closet name. Eventually, it propagated through the search engines.
On a second note, have you noticed that the Poshmark shipping label includes the buyers Poshmarks user name? Naturally, the buyers full name and address is on the label, but the “user name” exposed too? I would think this would be kept private.
