Number of items listed this week: 7Slow week, but happy with what I sold. I have been busy with finishing up projects around the house as I go back to work this Friday. I had hoped to get my store up to 700 listings before Friday, it is looking a little iffy.

Sales this week were only a tiny bit higher in number than last week, but the sales, when compared to last week, were less. I am grateful for the sales I did get, and I will keep on listing to get my store numbers up and try not to buy new inventory for at least one week. I said that last week, but that didn’t quite work out.
I am still utilizing promoted listings at 2% and for the Fourth, I did a storewide 15% sale. The sale accounted for about half of the sales, and before I started the sale, there were a couple of best offers I accepted from customers.

Number of items listed this week: 35This week the goal is to list, list, list. I am working hard to reach a mini goal of 600 with a back to school goal of 700 items listed.
I calculated a set of 6 month goals with regards to gross income from eBay. The last six months of this year (2019) I am working towards earning a minimum of $300 a week gross sales, $1300 a month in gross sales. By the end of the year, that will be an end goal of $7800 gross sales. Of course, more is better!
When we go on Christmas break at work ( I work at an elementary school) I will have time to revisit these goals with the intent of revising them to reach a higher weekly income.

Number of items listed this week: 38Sales picked up a bit this week which I am happy about. I am trying to get at least 700 items listed before I go back to work in August. Ideally, I would like to have 1000 listings by then, but that is pushing it.
I have been working through a large box lot (40 USPS Large shipping boxes) that I bought for $100 in May. The seller was cleaning out her grandma’s house and the contents of the boxes were the estate sale leftovers. It has taken me over a month to go through the boxes and recycle some of the contents back to Goodwill and stash in my she shed the rest of the items and get them listed as quickly as I can.
The new building looks great! Can’t wait to see the inside!

Number of Items Listed This Week: 48It has been a couple of months since I posted my numbers. I was down for a couple of weeks with a virus, my daughter and her family (husband and two kids) moved in with us while they sell their house. That was a big adjustment, I had to move a bunch of stuff to make room for them and figure out where to put some of their stuff. They sold or gave away all of their big items such as furniture and home decor. After a couple of weeks, we have adjusted to living with each other and I am enjoying the heck out of my grandkids. Their house did get a contract in about a week, and should be closing at the end of June. They are going to live the RV life after the sale of the house is complete. That is a whole other thing!
I work at an elementary school and the teachers are always putting items they no longer want in our sign out room. The last week of school there was a ton of stuff and I did snag a set of 25 Value Tale books and sold them for a quick flip of $80.00. It definitely helped my numbers this week.

Number of Items Listed This Week: 20We spent a lot of time with projects around the house, finishing up toting rocks into a new bed around pool, clearing out stuff in a couple of bedrooms as family may be moving in temporarily. This will put my listing on more of a tight schedule, but it is what it is and we will make the best of it!
My original goal was to hit 500 listings by May, that might be extended until June. We will see how it goes when the family moves in. Some evenings I can list for hours and some evenings I struggle to even get one listing done.
Clearly, I am at a hobby seller status, and if this is going to be a thing that will actually provide a stable income, I will need to reorganize my priorities.

Number of Items Listed This Week: 49This was a super slow week for me. If it wasn’t for the sale of the Disney Monorail set yesterday, the weekly totals would have been almost non-existent. Thankfully, the buyer made an acceptable offer for the monorail set and my week turned out to be pretty good.
I have reached my March goal of 300 listings, and on moving forward to my new goal of 500 listings by the end of April. Listing using sell similar is a big help in reaching listing goals.
Presently, I don’t have a specific weekly number (regarding sales) that I need to reach to make the monthly bills as my we are both still working and we use the eBay money for simple and SMALL projects around the house. Initially, I wanted to replace his income by retirement in 3 to 6 years, depending on who you ask. That might be a bit extreme. I think a happy medium between my current income and his may be more achievable. I will ponder that for a while.

Number of Items Listed This Week: 49I am working towards my target of 300 listings by the end of the March, it will be close! I probably had the same amount of sales as I did last week, but this week they were low price items. This week was Spring Break for me, so I had the week off and did go a little crazy thrifting for resale.
I appreciate the accountability that the forum offers by posting weekly numbers. It helps to keep things in perspective and to eventually see an increase in sales and listings.
I did find some interesting Disney items, a cast member top from the Polynesian, listed it high with a best offer. You never know, Disney collectors are passionate. I have a thing for Disney stuff, but only to find it and then flip it. I also found a stash of Souvenir Albums from major plays that took place locally in the late ’60s and early ’70s. They are colorful and have great graphics, but having checked the solds on eBay, they do not seem too profitable.
There was a bag of flatware that will take some research. I see that as a challenge for sure. It is all good.
@jay @totommyto @t-Satt Thanks for the welcome. I am challenging myself to be more accountable with my eBay business. There are times when I can get distracted by life, grandkids, you name it! We are on Spring Break this week, which will give me time to get more listings up. I hope to reach 300 listings by the end of the month, or more. But 300 is attainable.
