I haven’t even listened to this podcast yet. This morning I was getting really wrapped up in the political insanity sweeping the nation and the entire world at the moment, arguing with my friend via text, etc. Exactly the kind of divisive activity that the corporate/government/media hegemony wants us to engage in at the moment. I looked at the clock and realized it was getting late in the morning. Time to get to work on an Amazon shipment. Needing a break from “news” and politics, I cheerfully cued up the new Scavenger Life podcast, hit play and started reading the description. What. The. Eff.
Seriously, guys? Can we keep it business-related please?
FWIW, I don’t consider myself “left” or “right”. I consider myself apolitical and generally avoid all “news” and mainstream culture, TV, radio, etc. But, it would be nice if the show would stay on the topic of scavenging. This morning has been kind of a bummer and this was the icing on the cake for me.
This is my favorite podcast, and I listen to a lot of podcasts. Please don’t ruin it for me!
