Oh nice. I would say producers have the hardest job. I work with some really great ones and some really awful ones. I imagine you were one of the good ones. Haha.
I do 3 shows a night. The 5, 6:30 and the 11.
I honestly don’t hate my job. I mean I’d rather not be there and be out sourcing and listing but I’m not miserable there like I have been at every other job I’ve ever had.
I honestly never went to college. I just taught myself how to edit and some how found my way into news. So it’s a miracle that I have this job and make the amount of money I make. It’s not a lot but it’s WAY more than I thought I’d ever make.
I would like to be doing eBay full time in the next 5 years though. I’m gonna take it slow and continue to learn the business. The last 3 months have really clicked with me and I feel like I’m in a good rhythm. I’ve sold slightly over $1,000 every month for the last 3 months.
Oh wow! I had no idea you were in news. I know I’ve heard you talk about editing before so I assume you were an editor as well?
I’ve only been in news for about 4 years so I’m not burnt out yet. I’m getting there though. Also I’ve never had to edit tape to tape so it’s not as bad.
My plan is to save up money for the next 5 years and continue building my inventory for eBay and then switch over to a full time seller.
