I ended up with one of those hat stretchers. Came in a box lot and I had no idea what it was. Once I figured it out, my wife snatched it and now uses it for her wide brim straw hats which are a wee bit too tight. I don’t always get to sell everything I find.
Here’s my latest what sold on eBay video:
Pantry Boxes, Guess Watch, Mid-Century Glasses, Danish Candle Sticks
These sales are from late December and early January.Hi Doublythumbs. It was my neighbor. He knows I scavenge and sell stuff and thought of me. He’s doing a cleanout at his aunt’s house. Her husband passed away and was a DJ and quite the vintage techie. They didn’t want any money for any of it, but I plan to give them some money if I make money on it.
I am going to have a hard time sleeping tonight thinking about all the stuff that went into the dumpster today which I couldn’t save. This happens everywhere, everyday. Glad I could spare some of it from the landfill, and with some luck, be able to pass it along to a new home.
The scavenger gods were smiling upon me today. This morning I was invited in attic, basement and garage of a house whose contents were being loaded into a dumpster. Way more stuff than I can haul away in a few hours, but picked up some valuable vintage stereo and DJ components, vintage colecovision consoles and tandy 128k computers, healthkit stuff, etc. Got an AKAI reel-to-reel, a couple rare Sansui components, and a Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable and much more. To think this was all heading into a dumpster!
Here’s my what sold video that I put up this week:
Squirt Advertising Sign, Wedgwood China, Star Wars Glasses, Long Island Needlepoint, Amish Photo Art PrintI’m working through a backlog of videos from items I sold over the last few months. These sales are from just before christmas.

I’ve had a wicked busy last few months. It’s been mostly good. I’ve kept filming my sales, but I couldn’t find the time to edit them into videos once thanksgiving and the holidays hit. So here’s a couple what sold videos I put together over the last week.
I buy and sell a lot of vintage electronic components. I haven’t come across anything like these. Looking at the regular screw fasteners, it looks like they are meant for twisted pair wire, so it might be for a vintage/obsolete office telephone network. They could also have been used for model railroad track wiring.
Best of luck! I find with vintage electronic parts, it easy to get burdened down trying to identify obscure parts. Sometimes it’s just not worth it and I toss it or throw it all up as a random lot.

I had bad chest infection that progressed to walking pneumonia. I’m feeling a bit better. I was away for a week and now everything all new and shiny. Looks great!
Here’s my what’s sold video covering the last week plus some:
