I took 2 solid days to revise 100% of my listings, once I did that, sales went back to normal..here’s a major tip to anybody looking to revise your items..in your active listings page in seller hub on desktop, set the page to most results, which is 200 items…sort from highest price down…hold the control key down while clicking on each edit item hyperlink, they will automatically open up..my screen size would only allow 8 at a time…this saves so much time..(** note: if you have offers to buyers out, you can not edit those, so just skip over them)…

Thanks AtomicStar, guess what just happened to me? I was in dialogue with a higher up from the eBay community earlier in dealing with this fiasco..In a nutshell, they seem pretty clueless and my intuition tells me that no fix from their end is happening any time soon..they stated that the update announcement is now coming later tonight, lol, we shall see..
So, I just went into my eBay store, and selected a pair of shoes that did not appear to need revision..my eBay app does not have it highlighted as missing any details, and it looked fine, but when I did a search using the brand, size, and width from the left hand item specifics column, it did not show at all in search..neither did hundreds of others under that brand..
So, I went in and revised it as it was indeed missing size & width after all, waited ten minutes, and now it is showing in search..guess I know what I’ll be doing wee into the morning, hell, it’s basically just like listing new inventory, simply making your items searchable once again!!
Thanks for your post!
Kind Regards,
Rick
Sales are down 47.2%, and I am livid! Zero sales today on a Sunday & I’m listing new items!100% of my items are clothing and footwear…
Week Oct 13 – Oct 19, 2019
Items in store: 615
Items Sold: 10
Gross Sales: $833.19
Highest Price Sold: $181.00 ( Vintage 90’s Cooper A2 leather flight jacket)
Average Sale Price: $83.31
Money Spent on New Inventory: $154.38
Number of items listed: UncertainHEY PEEPS, CHECK YOU MOBILE APP, IT NOW SHOWS WHICH ITEMS NEED REVISING..SOME ARE REQUIRED, OTHERS RECOMMENDED..THAT’S THE GOOD NEWS, THE BAD NEWS IS THAT IT DOES NOT HIGHLIGHT WHICH FIELDS ARE MISSING, SO YOU HAVE TO GUESS..FOR EXAMPLE, ON A PAIR OF ECCO SANDALS, I HAD 5 FIELDS MISSING, TOOK GUESSES AND GOT 4 RIGHT, THEN IT FINALLY LET ME KNOW THE LAST MISSING FIELD, WHICH WAS YEAR OF PRODUCTION!! YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!
Slight retraction..my sport coats come up as viewable when I select the size from the left criteria box when it’s checked..however my shoes do not at all..the shoes only come up in search if I have the size typed into the actual search query title…aaaargh
Jay, yesterday I had a zero sales day! This morning I already began the day with a clothing sale..hopefully it continues..
Yesterday, there were no size refinements for people t search, today there are…so it’s a start..
Kind Regards,
Rick
@ the seam store
Wes, Yesterday a potential buyer was not able to search an item by a size, but this morning they are now able to do so..I just acted like a buyer, and searched for a brand of sport coats that I sell, and refined the search to size, and all of my items were viewable again…yesterday this was not the case..however, when I go in to revise the items, it is still requiring two specifics, the size in the upper mandatory box, and now also the waist circumference..in the past, I would simply use ” does not apply” for this, and you still can, however you have to manually type it in each time as it no longer remembers the term in the drop down..since I already include a waist measurement, I might just double it to fill that box in from now on..
So it appears that the original size specific that we used, now in the lower box, is now at least working in search..this makes me wonder if I should bother revising at all?
Kind Regards,
Rick
