It was intended to be a glorified storage space/work area. I’m currently renting a space for free in return for running a local Cash Converters’ (Second hand franchise/pawnbrokers) online department.
I’m on 1st floor so no passing trade unfortunately. I’d love to eventually get a vintage shop, but the overheads I think would outweigh any gains from passing trade, especially as the area I trade in isn’t exactly cosmopolitan haha.
I’ve been sourcing 99% of my inventory from Facebook during lockdown- I have a business page where I promote it monthly so get some leads from there and also directly from Facebook Marketplace.
