I am so upset. Was getting an early start on end of month bookkeeping and saw that my $50 eBay coupon for shipping supplies was not applied. When I checked out the total was $9.52 and instead, $59.52 was taken out of PayPal!
I called eBay, explained the situation and was told that my coupon was still active so I must have thought I used it. I asked for a supervisor. She acted very understanding but explained they can’t do anything on an order that has already been paid for! She said I had plenty of time to use my coupon since it didn’t expire until the end of March. I told her that was not the point and asked how come if one of my sellers has any issue, eBay can deduct the money from my PayPal account when the sale has already been paid for? She didn’t answer the question, just kept repeating what she had already told me.
Very disappointing customer service. I’ve been an eBay member for six years and never had such bad service. Even when cases weren’t decided my way, I still felt like the customer service representatives listened, sympathized and cared about what I was saying. Guess I’ve just been lucky!
