Kicker is that for my oldest listings, eBay watermarked my image automatically with my username because I had activated that option when it existed. I was on eBay Radio a long before eBay got serious about the no watermarks rule and, at that time, Grif mentioned that my inclusion of my store name and logo on a printed piece of paper in my listing photos was not a violation of the watermark rule because it is not a watermark.

Same applies to newbies who play a hunch in the stock market that pays off… they take greater risks that inevitably take them out of the game entirely.

Regarding the beta returns program, remember to check your account balance to make sure you are getting you final value fee credit when you don’t refund the shipping. No need to wait for your monthy invoice, you can look for it using the desktop version (not mobile/tablet).

01/22/2017 at 3:20 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 294: Finding the Valuable Caches and Going All In #10858There is an easy way to check to see if you have received a final value fee credit. When using a PC, look for the Hello {your name} in the upper left corner. Hover over that, select Account Settings from the links that appear (I know, it’s not intuitive). On the next page, within the Account Summary section, there are links to view: All account activity | Fees | Credits | Payments and refunds. Click Credits and enter the Item Number and click the search button. Here is a shortcut: http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewAccountActivity

If you believe another eBay member has copied images and/or text from your listing, we encourage you to contact the other member to ask if they’ll remove your image or text from their listing.
If the other member is unwilling to remove the image or text, you may report it using our VeRO program. You must fill out the Image and Text Theft Notice of Claimed Infringement and return to the VeRO team.
