eBay has created a can of worms with the listing process. As mobile is taking over eBay is trying to cram all of the listing info in to mobile. I don’t think Mercari Poshmark D-pop or whatever will take over but eBay is getting its butt kicked on the mobile front.

Jay is right about getting out of your regular zone. Spend an hour on online arbitrage. Shop eBay for stuff to sell on eBay or walmart.com or target.com find something on sale. Look it up on eBay and see if you can make money. I live in central Kansas it can be hard to find good stuff. Probably a 1/3 of my in inventory is delivered to my door. I buy stuff off Amazon to sell on eBay all the time.

Unfortunately you do have to do some work on Poshmark. I have had about 20 sales since the first of the year. I cross post from eBay and use the 30 min method. Search on YouTube for Poshmark 30min method. On Posh as new items are put on it will move your listing down the list. If you share your item it moves it back to the top. When you share your item and you can get someone else to share your item it keeps moving up the list. Its alot like you scratch my back I scratch yours. I would differently go and watch a video on the 30min method before you make a dissension.

I like selling on Amazon because its not eBay and I like eBay because its not Amazon Lol If that makes sense. You have to look at them both as completely different animals. If you go in to amazon thinking like eBay, you will not like it. You almost have to change all your thinking from platform to platform. I don’t work on both the same day. I only work on Amazon one day a week.

I don’t change the way I buy, If i am at Walmart/Target I will scan in both Amazon and eBay to see witch one will make more money. I have a local whole seller I can get an 10-20 of one item and send
in. He also sells on Amazon so its not a lot.

In the grand scheme of things I am small. When my wife goes back to work this next fall I want to stay small enough to do it all myself. Don’t want to have to hire someone or have my wife help me. Its not fair to her to work all day and then come home and work on my stuff. We own our home and cars central Kansas is a cheap place to live. My Numbers are not as impressive as some peoples but its what we need and what we can live on. Family and time is more important then money.

Sales total on a average week $1000 good week is $1500 (This Is Profit In Pocket)
Average sale Price is $25-$30 Across all Platforms

I shop at thrift, garage sales, auctions and do a little whole sell for Amazon.
