Trash to Cash. A podcast about making a living on eBay.
Why don’t you build a new building, make it 2 story and make the top floor another Air BnB rental. Then when you finish the building it will pay for itself more quickly and you will have a more diversified investment.
Hi Jay, it is really a mix of vintage and new. I even find some new in box items (this week it was NIB puzzle).
I try to be open minded and aim for that target of items that sell for $30 or more.
I like small items of furniture and decor items so I favor those. I also like to mix it up so I don’t get bored, you guys talk a lot about this and I totally get it. Right now I am sick of selling fish tanks so I am on break from them.
Happy to answer more questions about this type of scavenging if you have them.
I don’t do dumpster diving exactly but I scour curbside collections (where people throw out their bulky trash).
I collect about 30 to 40 items per week for resale. I do it in a single day usually on a Sunday afternoon or a Monday morning before work. This is the majority of my sourcing.
