Jay, yes you only have 15GB of free storage. If you change your google settings to “high quality” instead of “original” it helps. I subscribe to the larger storage for $9.99/month. But I also back up all personal photos and videos. It’s worth it for me knowing it’s backed up in the cloud. I do the same with Amazon Photos. I pay a total of $20/mo. But with the nunmber of ebay and personal photos. Well worth the cost! It’s a business expense you can write off!
02/06/2018 at 12:26 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 346: Frank Discussions. Gewgaws. Storage. #32293Ryanne, regarding the little tea cups. My brother now lives in Europe and my parents went to visit him for 2 months in the fall and my Mom mentioned to me that now that drink coffee out of this tiny tea cups and basically drink coffee all day long, but very little at a time. It’s not espresso, just regular coffee but non-stop fresh coffee all day long. She said it’s a new European trend. FYI.
Also, regarding the vintage shearling coat, If it’s really aweful and isn’t going away, I would just throw it in the washing machine on gentle cycle with cold water. I have washed plenty of leather jackets and coats and nothing’s ever happened to them. Might just give it a try…(at your own risk..LOL)
12/11/2017 at 1:16 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 338: Rich Scavenger, Poor Scavenger #28616Ryanne, regarding a buyer not being able to leave bad feedback after you’ve resolved and refunded money didn’t work for me. I had a client request a return, which we issued and also let them keep the item and they were still able to leave us a negative. I called about it and the CS reps said they still can. They said they couldn’t help me remove the feedback because it was the customer’s opinion and it did not violate any policies. I was so upset. The received a full refund and didn’t have to return the item, yet were still able to leave a negative. Grr.
Now is asking for a return that same as opening a case?
Congrats on a phenomenal week. I hope your old denim jacket buyer can’t still come back and give negative feedback. Did he already leave positive feedback? I would have done the same, even if I did receive the negative.
Welcome to Chicago. Hubby’s most favorite place to visit is the Aquarium. I get bored and mostly people watch when I’m there. LOL
I pulled up your solds and it was cool to be able to see exactly what you talked about in your podcast.
Yeah, I don’t know how people do it working full time, having kids and doing ebay. I closed down my studio and have 3 kids (a little bit older) and I never seem to find the time to list as much as I’d like. You have to be really disciplined to work from home. 🙂
I’ve started increasing how much I list and the sales prove that there certainly is a correlation!
03/22/2017 at 8:48 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Fur hat, Wire recorder, Phono cartridge, Boombox #15105My husband was just saying that he wanted to part some things out. I have to juicers that I want to part out too. You can make more $ parting out sometimes than selling an item outright. I’ve seen sellers that only sell parts and do extremely well.
I recently found some old CDs of mine from the late 90’s that I wanted to play only to find out that my CD player isn’t working. Luckily I see the little ones at the thrifts all the time and can pick one up if hubby can’t fix it.
Thanks for posting your video Steven.
Hey guys, I just found out that Becky from Dorky Thrifters (who shared what sold videos here) lost her husband (39 years old) Tuesday night. He unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest and died. 🙁 A friend of the family started a go fund me account to help them pay for funeral expenses and living expenses. https://www.gofundme.com/aaron-palmer
If you can help by donating, that’s awesome…if you can’t, for those that are believers, I ask that you say a prayer for this young mom and her two little kids.
Here’s the video from her channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqtoIKLP5P8
Thank you!

Awesome Ryanne. It’s there now! 🙂
Congrats on the new blog. Just a couple of things I noticed on the new blog. I wasn’t able to register on my Android..had to do it on the pc. Also, the posts offer a download of the podcast on the PC, but that option doesn’t show up on the mobile. I actually download the mp3 to listen on my ipod if I’m traveling as to not use up the data on my phone and I wasn’t able to do that on the mobile site.
Congrats on the new storage area. You guys just gave me a good idea!
Margaret
