I have learned a lot of things due to researching, although I worry I may be part cat! lol I was that “why” kid and just never grew out of it.
Nothing on the bottom. I usually stay away from things that don’t have markings unless I am absolutely sure I know what I am looking at. This time the cups just looked too interesting to pass up. I only spent $2.50 on all 4 so I know I will make my money back either way.
I did go through the mugs and tried some other combos and still didn’t find them. I don’t think these are that rare. I’m wondering if they are just some reproduction that a dollar store made or something.

If anything I think it looks pretty cool and will probably go for a few bucks.
So I went ahead and checked it out and it sold for…wait for it….$5! Hey that is $3 more than I paid for it, so it looks like I will at least get my money back….maybe….
I will list it whenever I get to it and I’m not wasting any more time. This is certainly a good lesson learned, at least it wasn’t the hard way!
You are totally right, and unfortunately I can get sucked into the research aspect. It is something I am working on.
That is an excellent point, and kind of the way I was thinking. At worst it won’t sell and someone might get a laugh at the absurdity of the price.
I didn’t mean to imply that everyone that is on forums are bad at sales. I totally get multitasking, I’m a Stay-at-home-Mom that has a house full of chaos. If it’s not the 6 year old, it’s the two hound dogs. It just seems that sometimes the most negative people in the forums post and respond a lot. I also know that people need a break and to vent. As far as dating yourself, that’s how my husband and I got together. Not meeting on Myspace, but reconnecting after college. You can start the math there if you want lol! Plus you are totally right on not being prepared. I almost feel like it is two totally different businesses. I am thankful for the influx of money, it’s the only reason we could afford Christmas presents, but it was certainly a trial by fire. I am always open to suggestions and constructive criticism. I would rather someone help me out and let me know something that might work better than just letting me flounder. Thank you for responding and please know I wasn’t meaning any disrespect with the Reddit comment, I mean I’m here right now…delaying doing bookkeeping!
Crossing my fingers for the million bucks, but hopefully I will just break even and a positive rating.
I did not see that before, which is funny because I swear I searched the whole internet. Probably just had myself running in circles. I will post them and see what happens. I’m not expecting much, it’s just frustrating when you think “oh this won’t be hard to research at all” and you are very wrong. Thank You.
