Found it. Nevermind.
It’s a Chinese Happy Boy Pillow.
I totally get it. It just so frustrating.
I was caught up in retaining customers rather than time.
She’s blocked. That has happened to me before. Buyer was just grumpy and left negative feedback for no apparent reason.
I tried contacting the customer directly via phone, text message and ebay for two weeks. When I called, he answered the phone and just hung up. I was willing to give him full refund. He didn’t want the money. Never communicated whatsoever. Ebay didn’t remove the feedback after I contacted them 3X about it.
Like Jay said to me once, there’s just a small percent of people out there that’s just grumpy.Zach – That’s odd and have had that issue before. Thanks for letting us know.
Habnab-
I ran into that same issue in the beginning of the month. I had to revise my listings without the option of best offers. I thought I had check marked them but apparently did not show up on the listing. Needless to say, gave me the opportunity to re-adjust my listings and adding the best offer option again. I make sure now as I’m creating my listing that best offer is checked and also shipping option is selected in advance to avoid double work.
Good luck to you and thanks for sharing!I totally understand what your saying. My husband was not supportive, well to a certain extent depending on his mood when money rolls in. I jumped out of a traveling sales corporate job getting paid almost six figures. Hated what I did and decided to jump out. Little did I know, I would run into Ebay and reselling used items. For a while, I had multiple beat downs as people were questioning the type of business I was in. Including my in laws and parents, let alone my husband. Questioning every step of the way. My first year, never felt so alone. They recently told me to quit and I should go back into the corporate world. Because of all the pressure, I was actually considering it and posted my resume. Went to interviews, got a job offer and I declined because I knew if I would’ve accept it, I’m betraying myself and my life dream of owning my own business. I love antiques and vintage items and love watching antique roadshow as a kid.
I think about all things in my life and realized I’m most happiest now. Even though, I don’t get to go out for dinner three times a week or live in a spectular home with my Greek God water fountain. I may not make the same amount FOR NOW. But, this business is mine. It’s not the most glamous, but it’s my business and I own my own time and they don’t. I have no regrets walking this path and grateful to stumble upon Scavenger life so I can get some support. What I have to say is, You GO GIRL!!!
I’m looking for thermal printer. It’s faster and easier. I love my Dymo printer. It makes things so much more efficient.
I had a the same problem, issues with printing the label for Bonanza and Fedex. The Dymo worked for Ebay, Etsy and Mercari. Only thing I had to do was adjust the orientation of the page for Smart post labels and mercari.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!I wrote to him and provided a copy of his packing slip. Also let him know we would want to make sure to take care of him. No response as of yet. I’m hoping he’s going to respond. This is the second time I’ve had an Ebayer just leave negative and not communciate, without giving us a chance to make it right for them since I started last year.
I’m going to reach out and message him again tomorrow.
There’s nothing I can do.
Appreciate your support.
Here you go –
I guess for both reasons.
Negative feedback rating 8 Oz Glasses 3 Goblets Cup dam one glass came broke and wasnt 3 glass 2 came
Thank you very much for your quick response!!!!!
Thanks Jay!
Before the holidays, things seems to be more in control until the season started in November.
I started doing auctions moving older inventory sitting there from the beginning. This way, money is constantly moving. I’m realizing as I’m thinking about this more, since I’ve started daily auctions, the organizing of things whether they were listing or not takes some time. I source, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays. My biggest sourcing day is Saturday, Sunday take photos of everything I source from Saturday. I have 2 boxes of death piles. I wake up at 7:00 AM and send my husband off to work with breakfast and lunch and start listing for 1 hour then packaging items until Noon. I put up about 10 to 15 listing up per day and sell about 5+ items per day (up or down). So, listing and researching items until 5 PM. Make dinner and we have family time until 8:30 or 9 PM and back to work until 10:30 PM and sleep at 11:30 PM. Free to let me know if you have any questions or I’m missing something. I really appreciate the help. I’m confident that I’ll figure out a better schedule than the one I have now. My first step is, asking people that’s already been through this process and what’s working for them. I am open to learn. You don’t know, what you don’t know. Part of the reason why I started this business because I want to own my own time NOT let it own me. This has been a great support!Thank you!Holy cow! I want my weekends back!
I source about 3 to 4x per week and looks like I really need to improve my schedule and just stick with it.
I just get so caught up in the business and there’s anyway things to improve. It’s a never ending cycle and work will always be there tomorrow. It really helps a lot and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and 2 cent
Thanks
That’s buyer’s remorse and would definitely call back and get someone else. I haven’t had any luck with supervisors, but that’s just my experience. I think you can file for an appeal in that situation with someone who’s empowered and will look at your efforts of supporting the customer. They just need to know you’re willing to take it back. Size large is very subjective these days depending on the maker. You can only rely on the tag and possibly measurements.
I would keep calling. Good luck!I am on the same page as Tara. I’ve been trying to figure out how to list thru taking pictures with my iPhone and finishing up the listing on my desk top. We don’t upload the pictures through my desktop because it just takes too long. If there’s someone that can shed some light, it would be great! 🙂
