Trash to Cash. A podcast about making a living on eBay.
I sell mostly used and collectible items.
Its just me. I work around my full time job.
I have made then what I paid myself but I reinvested a lot into additional inventory so my sales will grow year over year.
Hi, I paid myself right around 135k in 2018 (I haven’t done the final numbers yet it may be more) and 124k in 2017 and 84k in 2016 and 0 in 2015 (I was reinvesting 100 percent in 2015) from my Amazon sales.
Hi, Jay thanks for the reply. The impetus for going full time is the lease I signed on a warehouse space. I do mostly Amazon FBA part time for the last 4 or 5 years scaling it to replace my full time income. For the last three years I did more profit income from Amazon then my full time job but it still took me signing a lease to give my notice at my full time job. I’m walking away from a 80K job that I have been doing for the last 20 years.
I sell mostly collectibles and used items on Amazon. I did 554,937.54 in 2018. 457,634.67 in 2017 in sales. I should have quit my full time job a couple of years ago but when you have been working some ware for so long its hard to walk away. Amazon has been treating me ok. You just have to keep after your account to keep it clean.
