Thanks so much!!
Thanks everybody! Got it figured out and received my check from the USPS yesterday! I always imagined making a claim through the post office would take a really long time to process so I was pleasantly surprised!
I tried submitting a claim on the usps website. Step 3 is Fees Paid:
“Enter the total fees paid for this package and upload proof that it was insured.”
Any idea where I can find this information?? The box for Step 3 will only accept numbers so I can’t even put in that fees were paid by ebay.
In Shipping Labels on my ebay account, the only option available under More Actions is Print a Packing Slip.
The items are columns to perform high-performance liquid chromatography, which analyzes all the components of a liquid mixture. There’s about four main brands in the Solds on eBay. I’ve got three brand name columns that I’m going to list to see how much interest there is. After your last post I looked more closely at all the solds and they range from $60 to $450. Although $60 is still a good ROI for a $5 purchase. Looks like more research is needed on my part.
I was able to look up the items on eBay and the exact same piece of equipment sold for $100-$300 (I guess not all were in the $200 range) but they were different brands.
This seems like a very well made item. Some brands sold better than others but even those sold for around $100. I just wish I had picked up one of the local ones to list to test it out but I didn’t.
Thank you!!!
Ok I figured out what I did. I clicked in the GSP box but instead of putting “None” under other shipping options I put International Priority. So when I sell something under GSP will the label automatically print with the address to Kentucky?
Actually I’m thinking it needs to be the USPS pouch so I’ll have hubby pick some up tomorrow and I ordered some from the USPS website. Still need to figure out what I’m missing in my listings so I can send them to Kentucky. I saw a video that mentioned the Advanced Listing Tool but I didn’t see that option in the listing. Thanks for your help.
Thanks. I do have Global Shipping selected for my items. I may send him a message to try changing his shipping address to US and then put stuff in cart again and request total.
Actually his location showed as Canada but he requested shipment to New York. I told him he would need to update his mailing address in eBay in order for me to print out a shipping label. I’ve also been thinking maybe I should have told him to remove the items from his cart before I revised the immediate payment setting?
Thanks, I’ll cancel the sale. We live in Sanford, MI. Three dams have burst so far due to heavy rain the last couple of days. At least one bridge has been taken out. All of my eBay inventory is in the basement. We tried to put it up as best we could. It all happened so fast – had to gather what we could and get our four dogs loaded up and go.
Thanks. Yeah the parcel select and priority mail were similar in price but both were nearly $30 more than the FedEx. 😯
Thanks I’ll try that. 😊
Great thanks for the input! I did order a DVD/CD attachment on eBay.
