I had high hopes for these Gospel Bill VHS tapes, I was hoping to list at $200.00 for the lot of 31, but upon testing, the tapes played excellent and clean but upon rewinding they seemed like they dirtied the heads of the VHS player. I was going to just donate them back to GW, I paid a buck each. But i decided to list them explaining the issues, someone on the forums said there might be dust in the cases. Number items listed this week: 7Super slow as is the norm. AS far as the collecting. I am an avid reader and have lots of books often I find books that I want to read then I list them if they have a value for sale. Also I enjoy t shirts so I often find cool t shirts music and baseball themes to add to my collection, then start to purge my older t shirts, by listing them or donation. Great show.

Money Spent on new inventory: $15.00I was looking forward to a church rummage sale this weekend. I was disappointed, everything really overpriced even a broken 1960″s alarm clock they wanted $4.00. Picked up some books . Here in Mcallen Tx it’s getting tougher then tough to find good deals. Even the yard sales run very tough sales really surprising (considering this a poor economic area). Lots of people who run periodic yard sales so they are not that anxious to sell at a low price. I think Southern California was an easier place to source because you do find people who just want to get rid of their stuff.
Yes that is what has me puzzled the tapes playback fine but once rewound they dont playback and the tape player will not playback any other tape.
Just arrived in the dog house. Recently I purchased 35 VHS tapes of an old children’s show called “The Gospel Bill Show” they looked like they had never been played. I started checking them out and they looked excellent but when I rewound them the VCR would not show any picture (on the Gospel Bill tape or any other tape) switched VCR’s and same problem my wife said to junk the tapes. I am confused because my experience with bad VHS is either they playback poorly or get eaten. Maybe they ae getting the heads dirty? So I damaged 2 VHS machines and am out $35.00 (was hoping to list the tapes for almost $200.00 they are super rare and some have sold for similar high prices. So guess no more VHS purchases for me. Anyone have issues with old VHS?
On our storage here. My wife and I rent garages at are apartment $90.00 each. We have them well organized with shelves
The week was not too bad, a few days with no sales, put perked up a bit. The Catholic book on St Therese was a great sale I have sold this book twice for $75.00 each time and pick it up for a $1.00. I have a good eye for vintage catholic books because I read a lot of those kinds of books.

This was my best sale of the last week Fujinon vintage binoculors (they were given to me from my in laws who were cleaning out there house). Sales for me are like pulling teeth. Almost non existent i can go days now without sales(over 900 items in store)

Thanks for the feedback. I currently list my items for 30 days then renew (this does not generate a new item number?) I will try sell similar and tweaking the title a bit on my older items. I recently checked to see if my listings werre mobile friendly and fixed them.
