One thing I try to keep in mind with the ALL CAPS communicators is that they may possibly be older (my 75+ older Auntie says it enables her to see what she has written), as well as not understanding internet etiquette. But it still โfeelsโ like Iโm being yelled at ๐
It also has the look of the artist โSarkโ, perhaps?
One other helpful thing to use for most artwork are pool noodles (I usually pick them up super cheap at the end of the summer season, but they can be found year-round) & wrap them around the lip of the frame. Helps with additional cushioning. I also make a big “X” with clean room tape ( it leaves no mark – my hubs brings it from his construction work, am not sure where to purchase) so that if the glass does wind up breaking in transit, it is less likely to shatter – it helps stabilize, too.

We had one for 17 years, and they’re known for their similarity of the behaviors of dogs….we always referred to ours as “the cog (cat/dog)”. Great sales! Been on vacation myself, so none to share.
I will send you photos of some, Ryanne. Most are currently in storage, but will be photographing them soon ~ he never would sell any of his work, said that would make it “work”, lol…I will do some research on other nudes, nature scenes & definitely shoot for the stars ~ thanks for the encouragement!
Am probably preaching to the choir Inglewood, but my son is a size 14 & buys new ( when not scavenging) at oddballdotcom. They carry 13-20’s.

Since I began selling full time, I have been able to purchase a new Mac & I Phone (both for business purposes, I use my phone camera for listing). I began this journey after being treated for an incurable form of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (it’s very slow growing) and becoming unable to work in the field I used to. This is the perfect job for me, when I’m not doing well, I can rest or vice versa, list like a mad woman when doing well ๐ I’ll bet I’m not the only one out there who’s health has directed them to this path. I love what I’m doing, and currently am working to save for a trip to Paris & the Cote Azure (bucket list!). Thanks so much for your forums and podcasts, it’s been very inspiring ~
Will do Tiffany ๐
Very true! Like yourselves, I tend to dig through the little bins at thrift stores & found a deck of Nike Headquarter Cards, complete & in perfect condition for .99 cents ( they were in with the regular playing cards). It took awhile but sold them for $380 about 5 months later! Best sale ever! (they contained all of the Nike athlete cards which are apparently highly collectable)
Hi Becki! We love part time in the RV, who am really interested in hearing about what you sell/ and how… Haven’t actually been in the RV since I began reselling, but well may be doing more come summertime due to spouses work. Nice to hear from you & condolences for your loss ~ Heather
Hey Tiffany! I’m in Southern Oregon but come up to Pdx about every other month to hit the bins; would love to connect with other trash elves in this region ๐
