Highest Price Sold: $69.44 for Chinese Postcard
Average Price Sold: $25.88I had a great week this last week. Thanks to Jay and Spinachetr for the old podcast on postcards. I had 4 1960’s or 70’s postcards of street scenes in China. I put them on auction and one sold for $70 and the others didn’t sell at all. Go figure. I also sold an 1990’s Harley Davidson t shirt for $40. I found that shirt crumpled up at the bottom of a box at a yard sale. You never know what you will find when you dig. My store is really picking up after I hit 700 items. I reorganized all my items and realized I have at least 100 items of junk from a couple of months ago when I started. Thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Highest Price Sold: $34 White Leather Vans Shoes
Average Price Sold: $22.15This week was good for me. I tried to get a lot of listing in. I had an atari 2600 that I think will never sell. I get an offer and the person never pays or something goes wrong. II have a current buyer who wants it by a certain day but is not willing to pay for expedited shipping. When we finally agree on shipping price than they don’t pay the invoice that I sent. I think this item is cursed. I have had several none payers and a International buyer that wanted me to say it was a gift on th customs form. I know it will sell eventually but I would sure like to get it out of storage. I am having good success on a vintage skipper doll clothes lot I bought. Each outfit is selling for $20- 30. It is funny to pack up tiny doll clothes that sell for more than my adult size clothes.
Have a great week everyone!!07/19/2017 at 6:12 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 319: Being Adults, Making Decisions #20484Total items in store: 512

Average price sold: $17.60I had to cancel my first sale due to a lost item. I guess it is time to organize my things better. I am going to spend the next couple days getting my bin system in better shape. I recently bought a box of Barbies from the 1960’s so I am really looking forward to getting those listed. The box has a lot of clothes and accessories which I hope sell for good money. Have a good week.

Highest Price Sold: 70.00 (NIB Christmas Scentsy Warmer)
Average Price Sold: $23.93I was surprised that sales were pretty good considering the holiday. 3 items that sold including my highest price are from a couple of months ago when I was listing everything in my house. The Scentsy warmer was a gift from my mother who gets us one of those things every year for christmas. I looked it up and it was discontinued and apparently valuable. I hope everyone has a great week.

Highest price sold: Vintage Audio Cassette Recorder $25.49
Average price sold: $17.00Sales were better than expected for me this week. As I approach the 500 item mark I am seeing a lot more action everyday. Now I need to focus on adding some higher priced items in the store. I have a lot of $10 sales that I would like to see higher. I have some family in town so I haven’t listed anything this week. I am ready to get back at it and list.

Average Price Sold: $35.25I have been a fan of the podcast and forum for a while now but this is my first time posting numbers. I have been committed to doing eBay for about 3 months and I am having a great time. I am a stay at home dad with 4 kids so I have to be creative in how I use my time. I would like to make this good second income for our family and the blog and podcast have helped tremendously.
I paid $50 for the calculator in box lot at an online auction and that was the most money I had spent on one item. I was going to price it on the low side because I thought it would sell faster. I decided to price it on the high side after seeing the some of the prices everyone here gets for their items. It still sold in a week. I think it takes a little confidence to price items high. Have a great week everyone.
