Quick update on taking pictures on the ebay mobile app. It seems that in order to be able to change between veritcal and horizontal modes that you have to be taking pictures of something head on directly in front of you. As soon as you tilt the camera forward it cancels out this feature. So for instance I can take pictures of a piece of clothing hanging on the wall and use this feature without a problem, but if I were to put it on the floor and stand over it, I am unable to toggle back and forth and it stays locked in horizontal mode. Hope this clears up any confusion!!!

Thanks Ryanne! No I’m using iPhone. Maybe it is a part of an updated version of the app. It’s been a really nice feature to discover. Turn your phone horizontal and tap the screen and it adjusts, and to go back flip it vertically tap again and you are back to portrait mode.

I heard you all talking about taking pics in the ebay mobile app. Just this past weekend I figured out that if you tap the screen before you snap a photo it will reorient the camera so you can take horizontal pictures easily and not have to go back and rotate them all later.
