Thanks Liz. After looking at your link and then searching more Google images for traditional Slovak clothing, this does appear to be a Slovak woman. The stitches are tiny and difficult to count but after if I counted correctly there 22 to an inch so listed as vtg petit pointe Slovak woman tapestry needlepoint gilt framed. I don’t usually do art work so unsure how to price…. trying at 125 + ship and will see how it goes. Thanks to everyone for their input — this is such a helpful community.

Thanks Liz & Sonia. Case has been resolved. Under the review details of case there was an option to “ask ebay to step in” and a drop-down menu for “buyer returned wrong item” with a box to enter details. I entered what was actually returned, that I had contacted buyer twice without response, and included photos of return package label, partially open showing return in bag, and full view of what was actually sent back. Within hours I received a message from eBay stating: “We reviewed the case and have decided to issue the buyer a refund of $12.99 without any impact to you. This case is now closed. You are not required to reimburse the buyer or eBay, and this case will not be counted in your seller performance evaluation.” This was actually easier than a phone call and the case was resolved. She got a refund but it did not come out of my funds or count against me. Also found out I would not have lost TRS even if it had gone in buyer’s favor because this would have been my first defect and I would have still been under the 0.5% so I just panicked too quickly.
