You have me intrigued. In your picture, the the glass “top” appears to have a varnish between the “mouth” of the bottom and what appears to be the top. Also, “73” is facing away on the top and facing forward on the body. The dirt inside is clue #3 that you may have a removable lid ….more pictures please!
The “’em” eyeglass co. got it’s start in 2006 which would be about 30 years after these type of glasses were in their heyday. The logo on the earpiece is totally unique to my searches. I’m positive these are vintage 1975-82. Thanks for the hot tip, it was worth following up on. I went ahead and listed them with “butterfly” in the description (thanks Ryanne). No offers or questions yet at BIN @ $140…but hey, always ask for the moon first.
Thank Jay. I’ve been with the podcast since episode #40 or so, and binge listened to the early ones soon after discovering your show. I have a deep appreciation for the effort it takes to share with others at the level you and Ryanne do. Now that I’ve made the move to the website (perhaps because of the new design?), I’d be happy to field questions on the vinyl biz. I’m not a high volume dealer, but I’ve been consistent through the years and seen a lot of trends come and go. I feel that I have a fair amount of experience, especially with selling in the (Music, Records) category that could be of use to others. So anytime, hit me with your best shot.
