I have one of those pleasant older lady faces that belies my inner voice. It doesn’t matter where I am, people come up and start telling me their deepest secrets. (Yes,it can be a burden) I have met many good people that resell in my local thrifts and at auctions. Some have become friends. It’s great to know someone to call when you are out of flat rate priority padded mailers!

Any recommendations? #46806YOu can get expanded polystyrene (the white stuff that little beads come off of) or extruded polystyrene (pink or blue board) at any lumber yard (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menard’s). I use it if I have some on hand for house projects. Usually I dumpster dive (scavenge) for both foam and air bags/bubble wrap. Try stores like best buy that get a lot of electronics, or your local recycling center. If the dumpster is locked I just ask an employee for the goodies. (I have no shame)
One thing I use that isn’t mentioned is gloves….for when something is so awkward that you have to use hands in the photo. I use a pair of vintage gloves, but you can get a pack of a dozen white cotton gloves at the dollar store. My hands are always beat to heck (from cleaning things) and I don’t want to ruin a classy photo with them.
Heck, I have no idea how to post a new topic on here. If this isn’t right, too d bad. On the topic of glitches…about half the new listings I have made today are charging me a $4.00 fee to list. I just save those to draft and move on. It doesn’t seem to matter what object I am listing or in what category. GRRRR, Aunt Bea
