Hi Jay and thank you for the welcome!
Oregon real estate is insane- we are bursting at the seams and I don’t see a chance to break into the market for any price that makes sense. The growth and influx of new residents just grows every day.
We do have a family home in Bend- we’d love to own there too.
My choices for real estate investment locations is purely selfish. My family lives in Hilton Head and I want a condo there that I can use and rent out 🙂 The rental market there is great as its a constant retreat for many families. As for Arizona & Palm Springs, these are our retreats from the Oregon gray and rain – a short 2 hour flight.
Have a great day 🙂
Hi Christina- I had to say hello, as it appears we are neighbors! What a small world. 🙂
Hello! Long time listener- I was compelled to write to you Jay after this episode…………
If I can be honest, the first time I heard you Stutter, I felt…..relief……. that you did not edit it out. I can’t tell you how much comfort I felt to hear this on a popular podcast. It means we’re not alone.
I have ankyloglossia (tongue tie) and long avoided being “exposed”. I skipped school if I had a speech and dropped college courses that required public speaking.
I know our situations are different…..but our behavior is often the same, avoidance. As you mentioned, Jay, we avoid certain words and as such, sound “different” in our speech (often searching our minds for a word to replace the “challenging” word with). I now practice speaking these words, rather than avoiding them.
I wish you all the best, and THANK YOU for sharing your story. -
