Thank you Brian B! I had no idea that they did that. I guess I missed that episode~ Thanks for responding as well, sometimes I feel like Jays profile pic “Do I even exist” lol
Jay and Ryanne,
I would love to see if you could do an experiment on your second store. I’m wondering if you “refreshed” your items on a weekly basis or ended them and reslisted them every 7 days as a caller indicated, if you would see an increase in your sales. Since your sales are pretty consistent over there, it might be a good time to conduct the experiment before the fall when sales are expected to go up regardless. I sure would be interested in the results 🙂
Thank you MY Cottage. Not good news though:(. That would have been a nice tool to investigate the customer.
T STATT Yes, my new listings have priority mail but I haven’t got around to changing all my listing. But I definitely do not ship to Africa. I had 2 instances of “lost” packages. I do mostly clothes so I don’t know if anyone will actually pay the extra money for global on clothes. Its a shame, that a few bad apples ruin the bushel, but same ole story. Thanks for your help! I think I will go ahead and go through with the sale, keeping my fingers crossed I am dealing with a good person :(!
I swear I am so gun shy about selling internationally now. I think I am going to get ripped off by “disappearing” packages and I am a single mom, loosing out like that really effects me.
I am going to research all of my international customers before sending out. I’ve been looking for that website where you plug in the customers id and you can see their previous ebay purchases but when I google, only ebay links pop up. Could someone please tell me the website name.
Thanks!!!!

I have 3 different stores, my largest store of over 900 was the slowest. That was my original (1st) store. I talked to eBay about my declining sales and the representative “refreshed” all my listing saying sometimes the listings get old. He went page to page and in bulk editor acted as if he was going to make a change but didn’t and selected the submit changes button. He said that my sales should improve and they did! Maybe for those people who do not make changes often, like handling days, or such it might be a good step for them to do once a month.

I got behind and listened to the podcast backwards but in regards to eBay giving out phone numbers there is an area under manage communications with buyers that gives them permission to do so. You can change it to no.

Do you know the episode number or month that this interview was done? I am looking for a CPA. Has anyone used this person before that can vouche for him? I’m thinking his name was Eric, but could be wrong.
