I had three 0 aka NO sales days this week. I have been listing / meeting my daily listing goals for3 weeks taking only Xmas Day off.
This occurred right after running a 2- day sale on my entire store (1,000 items). I hear the ding, thought it was a sale but it was a return!I went back and looked at my numbers, and confirmed this is the worst week ! 🙂 It does make me feel better that my Posh, Mercari and Depop is “bad” too.
So, my question – after running a mediocre performing sale, does your store crash? ha!

I had 0 (NO) sales on Thursday and Friday followed by 6 sales on Saturday and 4 so far today. I’m sure that the eBay marketing team knows what’s going on, but I have no idea. Maybe people were getting back to work and catching up after New Years, but once the weekend started folks are spending all their new gift cards or gift money? Who knows.
Sales usually help, not hinder. Mine all ended right before Christmas, and I just haven’t had the time to restart them.

My sales have been stupid slow this week too. Technically no 0 dollar days but realistically yes because I have 5 unpaid item cases open on my 500 item store.
I keep reminding myself that “I am not relying on this weeks sales to pay my bills, I have money in the bank.” I’ve had to say it out loud a couple of times because the week has been painful. -

Thank you for the feedback. I try not to get negative, but I was super annoyed due to my major listing commitment for 21 days straight.
Let’s all hope for a better week next week -

I had a forty eight hour stretch of no sales. The last four days have averaged 40.00 a day on a 1700 item store. So it wasn’t just you…

I am still in the ebay black Hole ya’ll! Helpppppp! 🙂
I am still listing new items daily, tweaking old items, sourcing seasonal stuff and getting it up asap (ski, winter). I hope I have a big “whoosh” later this month. Hope is not a strategy, but hey I need some.
For those of you who are still struggling, KEEP the faith! Things will turn around. -

I’m selling 2-3 things a day this week, but small dollar sales mostly.
So far I’m at 8 sales for $142 total, and this is the halfway point of the week. Here’s to hoping for a phenomenal weekend!

Yes, It’s been a great week for me as well, selling up to 6 items a day! Except that I sold nothing on Monday, the 7th. Huh?

It started here mid December – and has continued. Have had many days with no sales, no offers, nothing. Instead of several a day, typical for this time of year.
December at least the dollars were up.
But that’s ok, 2019 strategy is to wipe out lower priced speculative items and aim for over $30 average sale price. -

I’ve had my usual 5-10 sales a day since January 1st on my main store. So far, 3 sales today. I haven’t listed anything in the main store since Monday, so I’m happy with that.
For my 2nd ebay store (200 items), I had 3 sales yesterday! 2 of those items were listed yesterday. Makes me motivated to list more in that store.
I’ve found 3 different reactions to a sale ending in my main store – no sales for 12+ hours oncw the sale ends, normal sales, and sometimes better sales than when the sale ran. Ebay is a fickle beast.
