I know its a Nike Air Cole Hron Women’s Shoe, size 6B. For example is it a walking shoe, bowling shoe, golf shoe or tennis shoe? I paid $3 for them at Salvation Army. I would like to know how to describe it correctly on eBay. This is my first time using Imgur.com and I hope it works. Thanks for your help in advance. https://imgur.com/a/rbMRo

Great job on the photo link!
To me this pair looks like what is called a “fashion sneaker.” It’s just a regular casual shoe to wear whenever, but not really for sports.

Thanks Sonia I’m going with that.

I did not know Nike made shoes like the pair you have, so it got me to thinking.
I did some research. I think you may have Saddle shoes and they may be for golf. Here is a link that may be of benefit.

Thanks for the link. I did see a few similar shoes. Now I need to figure out what to charge for them. They’re in great condition.

I did not see the standard Nike logo. I was wondering where the Nike Logo or name was. I ask because that will be a huge selling point in the description and your pictures. In addition, I noticed the shoes were identified as Cole Hron. I kept seeing Cole Haan in my research. If you are able to take a picture of the name, that will also be a huge selling point so customers do not confuse the names. You may want to also include words such as Black and White Color block and Saddle Shoes in your description.
As for pricing, three thoughts come to mind: 1. List them with a high price and Best Offer. 2. Put them on auction with a starting price you would be comfortable with. 3. If you do auction, you may want to do 7 day to create a need to buy. A 10 day may also be a option.-

It say Nike Air in the green spot under the shoe. You just can’t see it. I do have a clear picture of the name in one of my other pictures that I didn’t post here. Thanks for the info I will try an auction to see how it goes.

Also the Salvation Army wrote the price under the shoe with a permanent marker (shaking my head). I have been trying everything to get it off. I found some suggestions online like baking soda, alcohol, goo gone, fingernail polish, Clorox wipes etc…but nothing works. I tried painting the bottom with matching paint put it faded through. So I’m done. Is it ok to sell it like that with a price on it?

Your correct it is Cole Haan I actually typed it wrong. Sorry for that.

Thank you for your help. It says Nike Air in the green spot under the sole of the shoe. So your saying the sole is only Nike Air Technology and they had nothing to do with manufacturing the shoe? The picture here is not clear enough to see the name. I do have a clearer picture of the name for EBay

cole haan was owned by nike for a few years, so you’d see their shoes with nike soles.

Hello Ryanne,
I just wanted to share that I think some responses might still be getting lost. I posted a response earlier to SandyGirl’s comment about the Salvation Army marking a price on the bottom of the shoe and it seems to have disappeared. Not sure if you will receive this posting, but I thought I would try just in case. -

SandyGirl,
I don’t see any price written on the bottom of the shoes in your photos…Here’s what I do when I encounter this problem:
Tino the Sole Advisor on youtube advises using vaseline (you have to rub it with a paper towel/cloth fairly firmly for a while), and that works a lot of the time. If it doesn’t, then I black out the price with a black sharpie marker. I’ve tried rubbing alcohol and googone and whiteboard marker, but those don’t seem to work for me either.
I think the vaseline trick may be in this video

At the time I took the picture i had painted over the price but somehow after it dried the price came back to the surface. That’s weird. Thanks for the tip I will try using Vaseline first and if that fails I will use a marker then retake the picture of the bottom.

There is likely a typical Nike shoe code in these. What does the tag look like?
-
12/19/2017 at 8:39 pm #29106
What do you mean by tag? There’s no retail tags the item is preowned.
-
12/19/2017 at 8:49 pm #29109
On all nike air sneakers there is a tag/label on the underside of the tongue – I think he’s referring to this. But there won’t be such a tag/label on these shoes, b/c it’s a cole haan shoe. I’ve never seen the typical Nike tag on the Cole Haan Nike Air collaboration shoes.

There is still a model code in them typically. I have a couple pair listed and I research the code to get the name of the shoe.
Here is one of my listings that shows the model #.

Amatino, try petroleum jelly for the black sharpie marks – seems to work if the sole is rubber-type.

I tried the Vaseline it didn’t work for me. That black permanent maker is embedded in there for good. The sole is rubber I guess that’s why it wouldnt come out.
