I agree, it’s a very nice video of Steve with his dog (is that one Norman?). Looks like you are still enjoying the drone.
This is a vintage bar of Estee Lauder soap that sold for $45 on consignment. Not sure what the fuss is, but we all know that we are not our buyer.

Also on consignment, this etching from a known NY artist for $150. The frame was falling apart, so I just sold the art.

Another consignment for $22.50, this is a junior girl’s shirt from Sears, probably from the 70s; very retro and authentic vintage.

I had a huge stamp collection as a kid. None of my kids were all that interested, so I started to put up some of my bigger items. This set sold for $40. It lists an original price of $11, so I used that for COGS.

I bought this NWT vintage coat at a thrift years ago for $12. I thought it was all sort of cool, and I would get a really high price for it. After a price reduction or two and an offer, it sold for $47. I guess still good, but I had high hopes at the time.

I bought this really nice teapot at a garage sale for $10 in the fall. I didn’t know that it was a special designer, so I got a really good deal. Sold for $146.

I found this new Pella patio door handle at the side of the road. I know that this neighbor is having another house renovated, and they will be moving soon. It had missing pieces, and I wasn’t sure of the reason they were getting rid of it, so I listed it for $38, and it sold almost immediately. Normally, it goes for over $100, but I wanted to sell it with no returns.

This is a large, wood frame from an auction lot of art years ago. Sold for $45. FedEx gave me a hard time about the box size and charged me an extra $6.

This serving rack that holds three ceramic plates is really heavy and large. It would be good for a buffet or the center of a table where it doesn’t move once you put it down. I bought it in a large auction lot for maybe $5, and it sold for $56. The buyer paid another $55 to ship.

This was another consignment; a new in package Amazon Echo Dot. I’m always worried about the buyer for new electronics. So far, so good. Sold very quickly for $25, which included shipping.

Two framed ballerina prints sold for $36, and then the buyer paid an additional $32.50 to ship. Picked up at the same house as the patio handle mentioned earlier, but took much longer to sell.

This rabbit fur jacket sold for $45 on consignment. I received positive feedback, so it should stay sold.

I kept thinking to break out this lamp into parts and sell separately because no one wanted to pay the price plus the cost to ship. I finally accepted a $37 offer, and then I had to pay an additional $5 or so because the box was a bit larger than what I estimated. I guess I’m glad it is out of my way.

Last semester, my son waited until the last minute to tell me he needed to buy a book for one of his classes. He bought it new at his college’s book store for around $50, then I sold it for $50. I guess I can’t be too angry at him.

Here’s another item that I had to cough up a few extra dollars because the box I put down wasn’t large enough. It is a manual slicing machine for $40. I paid $5.

I was contacted by an eBayer some time ago about this vintage juicer. It was made by a local manufacturer in a small Pennsylvania town called Danville, and there aren’t many items remaining from that company. That buyer wasn’t interested in paying the price, so it sold to someone different. I had found it in front of a house where I had been to the estate sale a day or so earlier. Sold for $45, and it is going back to Danville, PA.

Many of my solds during this time period were large items; many with higher shipping costs. There must be gift cards involved somewhere because, any other time of the year, shipping is a big factor.

Nice sales @Sharyn. I love the soap sale. 99% of resellers would have passed on that. I’ve sold Crabtree & Evelyn before for that money. My husband is like “who is buying this???” He jokes about me ripping people off.
